Re: New Druid
#2My biggest piece of advice would be: don't give up.
Many people start out as druid, but before long the allure of a rogue's attack speed, a mage's damage, a warrior's survivability, or a ranger's solo ability causes them to make alts and abandon their druid in favor of the immediate gratification of other classes. So.. don't abandon your druid, don't surrender because it's hard.
Druids suck, plain and simple. Our offense is awful, we can hardly solo-level (and are much slower than other classes), we are very expensive to maintain/level, and are easy ksing targets. However, at higher levels a Druid's value at bosses is almost unparalleled. If you can overcome the huge level barrier and emerge as an endgame druid, then the server will be your oyster: not many druids make it to 180+, particularly main druids, so there is always an abundance of Druid gear. The journey will be hard, painful, expensive, and frustrating (especially if you are on a ksing server), but very rewarding at the end (moreso than other classes I believe.. OTM *for the most part* has made excellent druid gear). Embarking as a Druid will be a terrible and rigorous journey, so just keep leveling and brave the immense challenges ahead. That is my advice.
I just counted, and out of the all the people in CH over level 180 (according to the rankings), only 263 out of 2438 are druids.. and many less are Druid mains. I hope you can increase that statistic![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: New Druid
#3Also a bonus to add is that many mid level druids 100-150 are allowed in support groups for many bosses. While this doesn't directly benefit you its still really fun to get to participate where other classes of similar level are useless.

Re: New Druid
#5No because it depends on what lux gear you want to buy, whether you're in a clan thay can kill event bosses and aggy (or if you'll have to buy those items), if you're going to buy sigils, etc
I've chosen to spend a lot on my druid - 2 mil wings, vendor totems, 1k sigils, focus boosting vendor lux, etc

Re: New Druid
#6I am starting the process of deleting my extra toons. I have a rogue and warrior alt and have found that they just take focus away from my druid main. In the end, after having played the two previously mentioned classes, I find being a druid a bit more rewarding when bossing with my clan. It's true that leveling is a bag of hurt outside of a group, but my wife and three of my kids play the game as well, so I am never without a leveling partner. My biggest piece of advice would be: don't give up.

#9He is talking about the Arena Gladiator which is a group PvP quest for daily experience. It is not important for any class, just free experience that you can do every day and very helpful at 190 + when it becomes your only source of XP.I know I'm showing my "noobness" here, but what is Glad and how important is that for a druid? If youre a druid in herne and youre not in one of the 4 big clans..ur never going to get glad or good gear..and its so annyoying to do stuff..even if ur in these big clans
