If I'm not mistaken, the iPad mini uses the same internals as the iPad2.

I see the logic in saying the iPad 2 has major lag and iPad 3 minor, but is that actually true? The main bottle neck in the game is GPU rendering, hench why boss names appear a while before they do, and the iPad 3 renders images at 4X the resolution but doesn't have 4x the processing power.

I think the fact that it's driving a smaller device is the key to the performance you are seeing. I have the mini as well and my experience is the same as yours.

where did you get your information? iPhone 4 has no problem running ch lol
i also run ch with music + text apps in background with some lag. change iPhone 4 to playable.

Gen. 1 and 2 ipods have been unplayable since update 4 since they won't go past ios 5 my 2 still works almost 6 years later with a cracked to hell screen but my kids cannot download most new apps cause they require ios 6 or higher.

Beg to differ on iPhone 6's.

Comparing how FAST the old engine was with the iPhone 6, the new engine is ABYSMAL.
