There was no rage in update 3... All this chaos aura etc was introduced in the update 4 expansion

Your point? You're comparing a boss that was 'hard' and took 3-4 hours to a boss that's 'hard' and has to be done in now just 20 minutes or less. I'm not sure what we're arguing about here.
