#1Requires iOS 8 capable device... Could that lead to problems with old gen devices to to no old gen devices in beta?

#2im guessing they are probably gonna test the newer versions first (where it absolutely should work) and then test older devices later.

#3It's because TestFlight only supports iOS 8.

#4Yep if you see it's the latest iOS it's because of test flight for some reason you need newest iOS versionsIt's because TestFlight only supports iOS 8.

#6No the only problem there is that you can't test beta builds if you don't have iOS 8 and TestFlight but i think you can get TestFlight on iOS6 and iOS7 still but they want iOS 8So this can possibly cause problems for old gen devices down the road?
