This^ 100%I don't remember people suggesting idol nerfs to balance the game. If the goal of this is to make druids more relevant and get more people to play them, it's odd logic. Balance classes and fix energy issues and players will diversify classes more. 1) implement raid groups
2) if boss kill count reaches 20 on the raid group, it enrages and becomes immune to root and bolas. Heck make it immune to damage even.
3) apply #2 on all bosses including event ones
This would:
A) allow smaller clans who have balanced groups still kill a boss even if its over 20 minutes, as long as they arent using idols as a zerg tool.
B) allow everyone involved in raid to share gold and have a chance at drop without using clan banks.
C) stop players from saying they cant xp lix anymore because of the new idols

#45It is a good idea but i would rather see changes to classes, specifically druids, so you know...people will actually want to play them. There is an obvious issue when you see most druids are alts or give up by the time they hit 60-80 just because how bad their energy issues are. Otm if you truly want to stop zerging then focus on that because as long as there are idols people will find a way to zerg, atleast make the alternative (druids) a better option.

#47Just want to add, to everyone who says "get more druids", why dont you come to our server and level up 6 druids for us and play 24/7, so we can have a druid for every dps group and a couple spare for the tank ready to pounce immediately after a boss spawns to take the kill from a rival clan plotting a kill as well and not waiting for you...
High-level active druid mains are simply non-existent. The fact that we have to multi-log druid alts tells you there is a problem. Try playing in a competitive world with few druids mains before commenting.
Now I would love zerging to be prevented, but nerfing the idols was not the way to do it because it doesnt work. Thanks for changing it to %.

What happens when random Noobs want to come see the fight and die? What happens when people come to troll and die so your boss becomes enraged? What if someone is just going by the boss real quick and dies? There are so many factors that would totally screw this up and make it so easy to troll and prevent bossing that it's not practical. They can't just make sure only certain people die from the boss, even if somehow they did it based on clan members who die. What if it's a multi clan kill? Or what if a friend who is clanless comes to help because they're nice or wanting to join your clan? WAAAY too many variables and problems for this to be a practical solution
