I read that last line as if u were saying all bosses should be changed to have ranged attacks. If u meant all bosses besides current bosses in future should have ranged attacks then my bad.

Mordris dragon fire is a ranged-area attack. Guess rangers are useless eh?

You're basically saying rangers need to be invincible at a range or they're useless. Everything has to have drawbacks, I don't think there is any with your idea of rangers.

Rangers have the biggest attack range of any class, making them hard to hit with any aoe, close or ranged. While melee classes have to stay close together because of their range(all getting hit by the aoe), rangers can spread apart allowing the aoe to only hit a few. That is the advantage of range.

Because no one brought their rangers to fight redbane in the good old days as he has a bow so they were useless, right?
