Totally agree with Zyz on the strategy part being important for a ranger.

If skills weren't as broken as they are atm, rangers along with druids would be the most versatile class to play with (druids have energy issues too) and would be further essential to have in a raid party.

Rangers are a good class (coming from me, a rogue) but the boss drops for rangers suck imo. i wouldnt want to play a class with bad drops. when im 170 ill probs make a ranger tho

depends on the boss and how helpful the rogue is on adds in a pinch-- IMO a rogue that refuses to help on adds isn't worth their salt.

Ranger class is amazing. I'd even go so far as to say if you believe otherwise, you don't know what you're talking about

+1 to this id like to see any other class solo some of the stuff we solo without noob pots! For example my ranger could solo 6* 100 obe at level 177 quite easily. Any other class try that they wont last long

This is an mmo, it's not meant to be played solo

Ranger is a class built to solo and has relatively no significant use at end-game bosses. It's also a pain to level and exceedingly boring standing there shooting while casting minimal damage skills, because most of them are garbage.
