I haven't seen a single ranger on this thread saying ranger and rogue should be equal in dps. I've seen rangers explain they need some skills fixed.

On my rogue, I can go str or dex and have decent skills to compliment that build. I can have higher skill damage and less auto damage and visa versa.

On my ranger I can go less auto damage and still not have better skills damage. All my skills are dex but going high dex only makes my autos low and my skills still don't do much damage.

I'm not trying to outdps anyone. I simply want skills fixed and give me a str skill

Rangers and rogues are different types of characters, so they aren't meant to be the same......

As a ranger fan. I am not asking for the same dps as a rogue. All i would like is a quicker skill to help when gaining a lock. Sure after lock is gained it may take me a bit of kiting. But if i cant beat someone to a lock what does if matter that i can heal or bolas.

Again, I don't see druids or warriors for example asking for quick skills that help get locks.... Rangers have their own special abilities such as healing or bolasing

1. Bolas
2. A healing skill that does 1k+
3. A buff that adds about 1k damage to a group of 8 people
4. Camo
5. Long ranged attacks
6. Dps equal to a rogue while doing all of the above

From what I have seen, this is the post of unrealistic wants... Everyone go on and list any skill or possibility you want for any of your classes want protective stance on your mage? Go for it! shadowstrike on your druids? Pssh who wouldn't!

Okay but to do this we must take away your heavy armor and all damage skills.. actually all of your skills. Now you're a ranger. Number 6 is impossible though sorry. Mmm have fun training.

Im a warrior as well and I disagree. While Ive already stated that dps isnt a role, thus it shouldnt be treated as one and limited to one class, thats not what rangers asked here. Although, rangers up to u4 would beat rogues easily, its just that OTM tries to balance and does such drastic changes in balance that everytime theres another class dominating the dps 'role', instead of having it opened to anyone. Rangers have the largest amount of broken skills, and broken very badly, so I think its about time someone will fix them.

i think some of those are actually possible correct me if i'm wrong but skills had no class req at the start of the game. I have seen rangers with natures touch and druids with the fireball skill
