Divine damage indeed only hits on mobs with chaos aura.
Good way of testing this is on chaos wraiths in stonevale.

Actually that is a good way of NOT testing it (other than setting a damage baseline)
To test if it hits non chaos aura mobs you would try it on non chaos mobs.....
