should i take my points out of cloak of fire and put them into freeze?

If i cast freeze and someone hits the mob does my freeze where off? Also i do solo but i have no sigs

Yes it does, thats why for lvling its only solo.

Any dmg on the mob will break the freeze. You want to cast it and then chuck your lures on to the mob. You can then throw a shards/blast bolt/storm at mob quickly and then cast freeze again - if you time it right or if you have a freeze skull. I don't know if it really is a soloing skill. More use in PvP or for bosses (particularly Priestess at Mord)
