I think bounty boards will be somewhat like the boards in greenmont in oac that give quests. Each day the quest would change and the rewards would be different. It wouldn't be one quest only though, it would be multiple. That's what I think It will be like

I don't get why anyone cares if they place a bounty on you and kill you for xp. I'm just not seeing the negatives to it as long as they can institute a can't be killed while lixes are running. I think it might be interesting if everyone runs around killing each other.

Something that might be cool is if someone sets a bounty on you, you get an alert. Then if you can find the one that set a bounty on you and kill them, you would collect double xp.

I see quite often players complaining about getting killed in arena or pvp and since you aren't losing anything by losing the fight, what's the big deal? The other one that cracks me up is when players threaten other players they will kill them in arena....yawn

Fun idea as long as I didn't have to waste idols or respawn at a leystone, if I was leveling at mordy cave and some funk came along n killed me if be pretty darn annoyed if I had to run all the way back or use idols every time

Well in my mind, you would simply respawn where you died. I'd want this to be fun and not an inconvenience or hinder anyone

That ppl can kill others on bosses, which is a major problem. OTM can take maybe a dead map and make it a place where u could kill someone for bounty, or something.

Oooo if they make a map pvp please please please let it be shalemont, imo it's the nicest map visually it would be great to have a reason to go there. I could see the castle there as a great gathering place, almost like king of the mountain , the most "wanted" player standing up top others climbing the steps trying to get to them.

And don't worry Jonsa, I'll put a bounty on you even if Dange won't.

The only thing they can improve is the rewards and type of mobs.


Bounty rewards:

Rewards should NOT BE xp. Thats what the daily quests are for.

Here are some possible rewards:

Large amount of gold (50-500k), bounty armor/weps rewards, plat items, player titles, bounty fashion etc.

Each time you complete a bounty you get bounty tokens. Tokens can be used at a bounty shop to exchange for rewards.


Mobs/bosses for bounty board:

There should be different types of bounties ranging from weak mobs to raid bosses, single target bounties and bounties that require wiping out many mobs. Some examples:

Kill 100 Bolgs

Kill 5 boggan chiefs

Kill all tower bosses

The only issue with boss bounties is the fact that we dont have raid groups implemented so people will need to take turns being in kill groups.

To avoid long lines of players waiting for a bounty, the bounties should be randomised within each category for each player. There are so many mobs to choose from so usually everyone will have a different active bounty.

The bounty board will give you daily PvE bounties, they will be randomized so you should see a good mix of different targets. The bounties will be focused on killing monsters around your level plus or minus a few levels. Bounties have the ability to target multiple monsters for a quest, so you might be asked to kill any Firbolg in Carrowmore, or just Firbolg Choppers, etc. Because of the randomization of bounties and the fact that they target multiple monsters should reduce any waiting for mobs. Rewards will be XP, gold and some bounties will have a chance of dropping a bounty bag with unique cosmetics or premium items, what we put into the bounty bag will expand over time and we'll take feedback onboard after players have a chance to get a look at them. We'll also have rare seasonal bounties which will have a unique seasonal bounty bag with unique event cosmetics.

The Bounty Board will be tested in Beta so players will have a chance to give us feedback before it goes live.
