I've seen this message in the server status. However, I went in the options menu in the character selection screen and in the ingame options menu, the special offers menu, pretty much all menus, but no free platinum to be seen. Is it an old April fools joke they haven't yet removed?

No that's not the option menu, it's the green thing menu (game menu I guess, like the social menu) and in that menu we find inventory, stats, map, OPTIONS, support, etc. And by not free I mean it's not an actual giveaway. Getting currency for some action,even if we don't pay, I find that it can't really be called free. (I kinda guessed that it would be an april's fool or something similar, otm did only one giveaway and it was because of a server crash and data lost in an event)

It is free. If you go download some apps, they give you plat. You don't have to pay for the apps. So there is no cost to get the plat.

Gaining platinum by downloading other free games/watching videos is as free as we can make it It's more of a short time sink instead of having to spending money.

Thx for taking care of this little misunderstanding. And about the free thing, it is more a "vocabulary Nazi" thing on my part (because of philosophy classes ) There are some games that, during an event or something, simply give some items/ingame currency to all players, just like that, that what I would take as a definition of "free". Watching videos/downloading free apps is free in the economic meaning, but it is more a contribution/compensation prize. I don't deny that fact that it is not hard and does not cost anything, it's just that I adhere to a difference definition of the concept Didn't want to argue or insult anybody. By the way, I don't recall seeing any videos to watch on any of the 2 sponsors, is it just because there are none or is there a problem with the listing?

Oil, free is free. You're not paying for the apps by downloading them. So it doesn't matter your philosophical persuasion, plat is free.

What you want is plat for doing nothing.

I try to do as many of this as possible seeing at it is "free" plat
