I wonder across the board how many mages are choosing the dex necklace over the vit one? I've been noticing this trend, and I would think the vit foc necklace would be best because you can transfer the vit into the foc, while once you can't take the dex out.

So the 150 necklace gives you 150 dex which means 300 defence... is that worth more then the 150 extra focus? It seems to me mages suck in armour anyway, and the best policy would be to hit and hit hard and kill quick, focus would help with this..while dex would only slightly increase your chance of dodging.

I would feel very uncomfortable being myself into a corner with the dex necklace when the vit one is still much more flexible plus I just don't trust what some mages are claiming... that that defence makes a huge difference

Just buy what you like, no need to follow what people say.

People go for dex gear for two reasons:

- It's less preferred therefore more available/cheap

- Their gear already gives plenty of vitality/HP, therefore they can take dexterity instead

As an example, if I wear my full EDL armour, I have around 4k health without putting any points in vitality.

Never use dex, if you need survivablity then go health/vit. But your main stat should be focus.
