Now, I played a bit today, and I was remembering the good old days when stonevale/otherworld were endgame.
When the game was more simple and the community somewhat bigger, and friendlier.

Does anyone remember 2012? There were so many nice people! Elders and even Elite were so friendly and didnt ignore noobs asking questions, people would help noobs kill bosses, people would talk in castle, just for shts and giggles. Yes, there are still people sometimes talking in castle, but most of them talk trollish,etc.

Mabon use to be an awesome friendly server (why I joined), but when carrowmoore came, that all went down hill, in my opinion.

What about you guys? Do you guys think people are more friendly now or do you think the past years (2011-2013) were the golden age for mabon?

No argument where stated that U2/3 were the golden years for Mabon, and even other servers I'm sure.

Sometimes the simple things in life are better.

The best days of CH and Mabon were, IMO, the Stonevale days. When dragon discs were expensive af and everyone was camping Falgren. The best armour was meteoric and the highest level mob was 90 and the highest level player was 104, I think? The dominant clan was Haven but Masmar had a shout, lol. There was only one slot to cover charm, necklace or bracelet. Much easier to choose gear. Best armour would have been meteoric BP and legs, bloodlust helm, heroic gloves, heroic boots and heroic ammy. The glory days!

Just a side note: anyone remember Taostinians? Taostine was, I'm sure, the biggest Mabon troll! The first mabon forum posts are made by him and they're all locked because he wrote so much crap lol.

The reason why no one is nice anymore is because many of the new players (not pointing fingers) can be rude and unhelpful, and the old nice players quit / moved because of the new rude players.

The intensity of the end game clans sparked more fueds and unnecessary drama. Many people have quit and moved on from Mabon because of it but there are still good people in the game though.

I do I grinded out catacombs as end game with my rogue got her to 53 in there lol 1xp per mob till shalmont/stonevale opened up hehe. Not many people on mabon left from those times. I've still got my set of embossed plate that any class can wear from those days hehe

ahh the good old days when you could afk kill something without getting dc and spam pots. I remember when I first started Pix was this badass lvl 60 I think and he killed Donn for me.
