We aren't dictating how you should play, rage timers do that for you. We can't even kill necro and are always one of the last worlds to kill the hard bosses because people are too stuck on their alternative ways of playing.I actually stand to benefit from "class based" dicing on Garanak sets if we choose to do that. However, I am still against this because it is short sighted and unfair. We can’t presume to dictate how others should play their toons. This “class based” system is attempting to micromanage drops and micromanagement is bad management.
Under the proposed system Bloodthorn and Frostroot sets will be exclusively reserved for rangers and rogues.
Lets be clear. ONLY rangers and rogues will be allowed to dice for Bloodthorn and Frostroot sets. Think about that warriors. No Bloodthorn or Frostroot pieces for you! Just so you know, I was offered 4.2 million gold for a Bloodthorn ring last summer. But don’t worry warriors, you have exclusive rights to…wait for it…Ironroot sets (you will need to compete with mages and druids for Stonebark items).
P.S. Someone wanted an example of strength and dexterity benefiting a caster. Here is a link for you.

How is it micromanaging? If OTM lays a restriction all is well but if we do it's micromanaging. Why would it matter which party does what?
I think it's well understood that frostroot and bloodthorn sets would be exclusive to rangers and rogues. We all have access to the chart I nade up, no need to insult our intelligence here. Let me ask you how many warrior skills use dex? What's that you say, zero? Do you realize how much of a waste 300(or more considering these will be upgraded sets) unusable points is? Seemingly not.
Warriors can roll on ironroot, stonebark, bladeleaf and stormleaf sets. 2 dps sets and 2 tank set for a class capable of mediocre dps and high tanking capabilities.
Rogues/rangers can roll on all 4 melee dps sets. Their only capabilities are melee dps.
Casters can roll on the 2 caster dps/support sets and the stonebark set. All giving stats that both help their dps and support skills whole adding to their survivability. What would they need auto damage for? They don't.
Why do you figure rogues aren't whining about a caster exclusive shrive/spirit set? Because we know that set is useless to us and we have no interest in it. We don't want to own it, we don't want to use it, and we don't want to sell it.
Blood ring for 4.2m is laughable, you really expect us to believe that? People weren't even willing to cough that up for a reaper ring or bladeleaf neck.
The fact you're still on about equality is ludicrous give it a break. There is no equality on this game.
P.S. A guide doesn't automatically make something useful.
Ultimate rogue guide: wear aggy grim and full spiritshadow with garanak shrivewood set and sunfire health rings. Maximum energy and health.
