Ooo nice hit!well i broke his jaw, he never hit me back so it didnt become a full on brawl otherwise he wouldve got hurt alot worse and i wouldve been facing weeks of suspensionHahaha, 4 day suspension? Some kid was being a smartass to me so I headbutt his nose, it got pretty bloody. Only 2 day suspensioni dyed my hair purple once as a dare, some kid called me gay, i hit him got suspended for 4 days

It was an insult, no matter what it meant in the past. If It was implied as an insult (which it was), he has any right to do as he feels to the other person. Some people were brought up to talk it out, some people were told to not let anyone insult them. Anyway, where I live it's not really a big deal...
I know what you mean, he is a kid, but still, assuming you have kids, would you let them defend themselves? What if they were being bullied? What if this person constantly talked down to you? What if you already told them to stop? Because sometimes talking it out does not work in highschool..It was an insult, no matter what it meant in the past. No he doesn't have any right to do as he pleases. He assaulted someone because he couldn't control his emotions, he is lucky he is a kid because otherwise he would probably be charged with assault.

Im only 17 but until maybe a couple years ago I used to get suspended regulary (even 2 weeks suspensions), its nothing to be proud about, it only bothered me and interrupted me, u need to realize that it will only cause u a mess if u continue, I now cant understand how I did some of the stuff I did.
It's too bad you can't see the error in your way, it's sad really that you didn't learn from your mistake. You were suspended in the hopes you would learn a lesson, instead you are bragging on the Internet how much of a tough guy you are.

As for gay being an insult, @Cysero, how did it become like this? Thats how society is. Society can make things an insult like gay, I understand if someone would add a curse to 'gay' (although even then dont go into fist fight so easily) but now even this alone is an enough of an insult for some ppl, but I think it slowly changes back. Also yes gay was a word for 'happy', in Hebrew a word that used to and still is used to be as another word for 'happy' is often used as describing someone as gay, how did the meaning of the word change? I really wonder about that too now, never thought about it before actually.
