Being new, I'm not really sure what things go for. I have no idea what a good price is for things. I'm starting to put a spreadsheet together to figure out the best places to sell things (all the info I've seen is outdated and for earlier releases), but I still don't know what is fair. Do I figure out what the max vendor price is and sell at x% higher? Have them make an offer and try to get the best price (obviously I want max price, but I want it to be a fair deal and I want lower levels to have the chance to get decent items)? I also don't really know what is useful vs. what is marginally useful for different classes.
What is the best way to go about selling items? Everybody here seems to be looking for higher end items, so I don't think listing here would be effective. I've shouted and never received a response. I've whispered to people and sometimes they are interested, but they close the window before you can get stuff up. Is it even worth selling at this level, or should I just go to the vendors and dump it all there?
Mostly trying to figure out prices for things like rings and books that get dropped in Fingal's Cave, as well as weapons that get dropped by Conacht troops and Pirates. Most probably aren't that useful for level 60+, but could really benefit a level 10-20. What about items for quests?
