hey guys thought i let you know about a scammer who has made several attempts to scam people obv this is mabon server am sure most of the veterans know about him and this post is mainly to warn the new guys who have lux and whos still at a low level, i also want to let all of you know, no matter how much is offered to you dont fall for it, its too good to be true plus, also if you're trading MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CHAT WINDOW OPEN AND DONT BELIEVE ANYONE even myself ABOUT PAYING YOU BACK AT A LATER DATE COS THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

Welcome back brownbeard! Didnt miss ya! Tho for some reason, scammers r rlly fun to talk with if youre still on talking terms once they understand you rnt falling for it.. Brownbeard, my advice to u (second option rlly, bc ik u wont stop if i tell you to) is to go to a more active server. Mabon is quite dead. leave the poor ones who r still on alone well then, back to the nubz. Dont fall for any scams. I once got scammed by a "best friend" of all i owned in game, and since then i have gone by the rule of nvr giving anything to anyone. (With the exception of the three people i trust enough to give my account to. (Not that i would, but thats the lvl of trust i require from them bfore i lend them objects) with that rule i havent been scammed since. Be firm about not lending anything, and people will learn to accept it, and wont hold a grudge for over five minutes. And if they do, then they shouldnt be your friends. Good luck

Thing about myrm is, you can actually trust most people, definitely if they are above guard. The untrustworthy ones seemed to have pissed off a while back.

This has worked for me, because my closest friends know i follow this policy since a "best friend" scammed me of everything i had back in 2012...
The problem is that sometimes people want to express how much they appreciate their friends, and scammers take advantage of that by befriending people or pretending to be friends. Whenever i do transfers, i ask a question that only that friend would know, such as what was the name of the alt i used to give u an item, or what is your favorite sport.

Otm could do much to improve loaning items, such as using the following great idea, kudos the the thinker
Enable a process in which you could give an item to a person which has a setable amount of time before the item is returned to the owner. Its perfect for helping people and to prevent ensuing arguments, one could have an option to take back the item whenever they want, thus enabling players who quit to give their items untill they come back, afterwhich they could retrieve all their items in a few clicks!
