You arent thinking broadly enough^^ i dont want another set of dl armour for the warriors who would like to dps
I want a set of armour i can use for more fire damage, a set i can use for poison damage, a set to make MY SKILLS more powerful, not skills that no one uses. I want choices. If i am a warrior, id like a set of armour which provides more armour then usual with hp. If i am a dps armour, i want armour that provides strength and bonuses to bouble strike, pummel, and giant swing.
The fact that we only have one track of endgame armour which requires an endgame clan to get is quite dissapointing. There should be bosses like aggy that are easier to kill and drop regular items, and then rarer items with a lesser chance. These bosses should spawn every hour. There should be ten differant ones, focusing on differant items. With exact spawn times, players who arent in a clan have a chance to kill these bosses as well. This would bring more equipment into game, be ause the regular drops could be sold to lower levels, while the rarer drops would be kept. Its also an idea to make bosses or rare mobs (not rare like gold or exp mob, im talking a sane rarity, say 20%) who drop a new currency which can be exchanged for armour. And it doesnt have to take five weeks to get this armour. Perhaps two days (per item). This is adding side content to the game while expanding variety.

The game only offers leveling, standing in castle, or killing minor bosses (redbane, stonefang, so on..) for very minor amounts of gold (2k). Its a pathetic variety of things to do. Otm has to stop providing new leveling content to endgamers, and start providig more side content to everyone in game. Bosses dont have to be minor variotions of the endgame bosses (as event bosses work). There should be bosses who drop items for level 100s. That way the level 200s dont both, because they farm similair bosses (similair in idea, not drops) for level 170s with items meant for them. This starts providingg something for level 100s without them feeling that they have to reach 210 before starting to enjoy the game. I was hoping that the summer update would be the solution to this problem, but at the rate that we are going (i mean, come on... Simple bird animations? What is the bounty board? Five quests for level 50s untill the next update?...) the game wont be fixed untill 2020 rolls around. Please step it up otm.
they tried to bring out bosses suitable for all levels, what happened is the high level players simple killed the boss as soon as it spawned for theyre alts or banks

DL weapons and armor are geared slow, and EDL armor and weapons seem like they are going at a good pace. The solution I would propose is to change the DL bosses/quests to mirror EDL.

Same spawn times, same types of drops coming from bosses, and add in two more bosses (DL has 6, EDL has 8).

By making the DL armor quest the same as the EDL quest, not only would it speed up the pace that we earn the drops, but it would make people fight Ulrob and the DL Wyvern. Right now, no one fights these bosses because we get everything we need from the other 4 bosses.

Here are the changes I propose that should be made to bring DL into line with EDL:

If an 100 boss spawned at the same time as a 200, then alts wouldnt be there :D besides, otm could rig the lock on these bosses so that lvl 100s will always get them over lvl 200s. If you want it, you gotta log onto your alt :D

when i was a clan leader of a bunch of noobs i used to lock battle the top clans for 100 and 50 spider among other low bosses for my clan, nowadays there just isnt any competition among low levels, i might start a new clan to help low levels and keep the game alive for mid lvl people again

1. All the high levels with nothing to do decide they will farm these bosses for there alts. Keeping these high levels busy with a boss spawning at the same time takes care of this
2. Almost no low levels now adays.
Combining the inflated economy and the impossible grind to endgame, the game doesnt appeal to many new comers. Anyone who understands the game quickly enoug will be smart enough to leave it.
Otm has to make the economy normal again by reducing prices everywhere, as well as stopping monopoly on plat items by making them availible for gold, especially since they are now a requirment to reach end game. If an item is required to reach endgame, it shouldnt be a plat option. It should be a store option. Same with idols and pots. Either increase player hp and armour by X3-4, or reduce enemy damage. I flew to aggy today (level 180 rogue) and i chanced upon a rare weapon apprentice mob. While killing it another mob came by and started hitting me as well (Level 140 mobs). Two mobs dead and two pots later, i got my shard. Its ridiculos how low survivability and damage are in this game. Its a straight up money sink. Its time for otm to put in the plug and start treating players more fairly. The challenge to bosses doesnt have to be who can use the least pots. Now, with mobs gaining poison resistance, the game is getting ever more ridiculous. Its no wonder over half the endgame population quit after the last update (at least on mabon). I hope otm starts fixing the major problems first. As far as im concerned, keeping the players takes priority over programming a bird to follow players.

Why don't you just make an offer to buy the company and run it yourself? Seems like you know what everybody wants :lol:

Cant tell if thats sarcastic or not :D i dont think otm really needs a player to buy the company so they can figure out what the players want. All they have to do is log onto the forums and see what i gave em for free :)
I dont know what you play for, but people usually play games for enjoyment, and this game doesnt offer to much of that. more of hard work and alot of irl money. maybe you got lucky enough that the most recent update didnt wreck your server, but mabon is now a pathetic memory of what it used to be. And i beleive many other servers lost at least a quarter of their population. I cant find any other explanation as to why after four years otm suddenly starts listening to us at the same time as many players leave except for that they dont want to lose the rest of the player community. And im trying to tell them how not to lose new players. But if eandgame players dont care for improving the game, then i kindly ask that they go on their happy way to camping all day again on the random spawns with the clan being half as active as before. Its thanks to people who want the game to improve that the camping is going away, and that all the other great ideas are being proposed. Theres no reason to ruin that.

The thing is as you said they camping for their Alts. You saying it like they not allowed to. You can go lvl instead of posting stuff down here.

Im not saying its not allowed. Im saying the problem is that high levels are so bored they have nothing better to do then camping low level bosses. And as to lvling more, wouldnt otm love that? If everyone stopped complaining about the game defficiencies and just went back to leveling more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more (one more for each new update introducing more levels) while they could just go on pulling in the money from all the lixs...

Players need to post to let otm know what they have to fix, and if you have a problem with players trying to fix the game, you can go level :lol: .
