Re: OTM, please come to the table

Do mages have to put all points into a skill to be able to hit mob with it, only to then have it evaded?
Worse, we have to put points into three skills just to do one action of damage. .. lure, attune, and then attack skill... only then to have it evade... and evade. .. and evade.

Last post. Everyone gets evaded, not just mages. The issue is not my Mage (Druid, warrior, ranger, rogue) getting evaded. But mobs evading too much. Evade needs to be fixed. Until that happens know that everyone is dealing with this issue. Otm isn't picking on mages.

Pixie, you have just continuously evaded relevant points and evidence that shows how evades are way more impactful for mages and happen way more frequently and spill your eraneous talking points instead, only to admit that you quit your mage, ironically, right around the levels when this issue becomes more aggretious and detrimental.

I've never said that all I'm saying is everyone has evade issues. So what I did was pick a class less susceptible to this. And when I quit my Mage they didn't even have attunement to help boost my dmg. So now when mages don't get evaded they do more dmg then when I played them. My point is evade is an issue not mages evades. Of course if your eggs are all in that caster basket it's gonna hurt you more. Until evades are fixed mages will always be saying the same thing you said today. Look at all the past posts that state the same thing. I'm just tired of people saying it hurts when I do this. Well stop doing that!!!

The point that everyone is trying to make is yes, every class has to deal with evades, but when your only attacks are skills, it is a big impact when they are evaded due to the fact that caster's auto attacks do very little damage. If you have a decent auto attack then it isn't a very big deal because you have damage to fall back on. Comparing a Ranger to a Mage or Druid is not really fair.

Would you be gripping if your skills and autos evaded so you were doing no damage at all while getting killed?
