Don't be so quick to judge this cape harshly. Ive seen it in beta and it has some cool surprises that you can't see in this image. I think it's one of the cooler mounts that otm has come out with. Im sure once you see it in action that you'll think so too.

Spoiler! What do u mean its one of the cooler MOUNTS??? Nevermind this post confirmed it is a cape and it is coming. I hope that this isnt the surprise u spoke about though bitey, because it doesnt impress me in the least. Im looking for major fixes to the game. If the best one cost 500k, then no matter how they look im gonna be happy.

Why would the best mount go from 2mil to 500k between events

Why would the best mount go from 2mil to 500k between events

I think you may have missed my underlying point which was that i feel the biggest problem in the game is the crazy prices on all items. I wasnt exactly recommending that the prices fall that much, rather trying to make the point that otm should be focusing on fixing the crazy prices before starting on new projects.

Meh i disagree with that. The luc is priced fine as are the mounts, the issue is that the gear you can buy is as good or better than boss loot at that level. Boss loot should always be the best which it isnt. If it was the lux would legitimately just be luxury for those who wished to spend the extra money for some items to help along the way

The 60 percent mount is 200k which is just fine. Personally I'd like to see a mount where you pick and choose the options and colors you want and this determines the cost. For example if I just want a stripped down mount for the purpose of speed, then it should be cheaper than one that has regen and evasions.

But no one has to spend 2 mil on a mount.

1.5m every event is fine? Not to mentione how much 200 lux and 180 luxury is. U can't even make the amount of money from 150-180 or 180-200 to afford the new lux unless ur either a really good merchant or plat buyer...

And let's not forget that lux is a necessity at higher levels...

Exactly my point, nevermind that a 2m mount has nothing to do with boss drops, nvr mind being better... If you want to play the game without those bossdrops you would have to be willing to spend 200$ on each item, only to have a better item come out in a quarter of a year. That doesnt happen with boss drops, so no need to complain bout those. Also, boss drops are still better then lux in most cases, but it makes alot of sense for an item that costs even 1m to be better then the (one drop out of three or so)drop that cost an entire clan 200k max too get. (Taking lix prices into account as well)
