I used to think just like your saying until I joined android. Event lux is a necessity for most bosses here and if you don't have it, "your gonna have a bad timee". Either way it is still overpriced.

Actually, the irony of the statement is that otm forces all those players who cant get in to an endgame clan for some reason to buy event lux to keep up with players their level, since there is no alternative armour or items to dl and diffucult boss drops. I suggested using the bounty board to fix this problem, but it seems otm didnt want to do that.

Also, whats wrong with fixing prices. Even if no one is forcing us to buy them, we would still like to have some good gear, and we dont want to be ripped off while doing that. It seems you have taken the approach otm wants you to take, which is "let them go and waste an irrational amount of gold so they have to buy more plat in order to get gold, and hope that we can somehow deflect there complaints on the process." The prices are broken and thats a fact. 1m was stretching it. 2m is now just plain ridiculous and one of the big reasons i along with many others quit the game.

You mean because they can't have the absolute best lux gear when there is good lux gear for much cheaper?

I've heard a lot of reasons why players are quitting but not because they can't have the 2 mil mount or a 1.5 mil ammy.

Lol. Its not about the item. Its the price. The fact that otm are charging 2m for anything, especially a mount which is only used to get places, shows how ridiculous they are getting and how broken the game is. If all otm can do after multiple complaints is release new item with higher and more ridiculous prices, then it screams to all players worth half a cent "this game is broken." The only ones who miss it are the suckers, the people rich enough that they will pay 400$ for two items, and the people happy enough with boss drops that they can walk around blissfully ignoring the broken parts of the game. Everyone else has and will quit. The only real fix otm has to make asap is fixing the economy. Bc without that fix, otm has made their games death wish. Otm can continue to ignore me and others who are telling them to fix the economy, but for the record, if otm doesnt make the economy fix, then remember when the game shuts down, i called it.

Wait a second...thats a mount? Here i thought they finally released a cape that could be equipped in the fashion slot. Companions that use the mainhand slot? i'll equip that when i dont have my mainhand weapon or mount equipped which is...um...uh...never, maybe useful for castle dwellers i guess? I hope im proven wrong :| but i am looking forward to the other changes coming in the update that the admin mentioned in f&s

What I mean is its a vicious cycle and the best gears are always available from the "not quite luxury" store. Players are often forced to farm gold or whip out the credit apple just to keep pace. Lux items original purpose was to remove gold from the system, a gold sink for players with nothing to spend on, but when players have to raise gold each event, then it's not a gold sink anymore. Awhile back, new lux items were introduced once a year, now it's 3x a year, maybe even more.
