I'm all for the lowering of lux prices. But do you take the best mount and suddenly way drop the price when you have players that spent 2 mil the event before? I've asked for old fashions to be brought back as a special limited time event - hunter, lanrik, charms, party hats that you can purchase outright but the response from other players is no way it will make the players mad that spent millions on these things and depreciate the value of already existing fashion. So if OTM keeps bringing out better or the equivalent of the event lux we have now, how is it feasible to make it cheaper without pissing off a lot of players that have bought these items?

I bought the 2 mil wing mount a couple events back. I didnt buy em because they were the best or had regen or evasions. I bought them because they were yellow and the only full pair you could buy. I would much rather had an Ala-a-cart option to have have a stripped down yellow full model that were 60% speed which would have cost I'm assuming 100k if the 60% mount with regen is 200k.

We have a player on our server that farmed enough for the stargem set. Then the new lux came out and he farmed enough for the ammy, 2 braces, and a ring. I'm still not sure why he farmed for the new event lux when the stargem set was awesome. And at lvl 180, I'm still unsure why he bought one of the 1 mil rings when 2 Valor rings would have provided greater stats for almost half the cost.

But for some reason there seems to be the thought that the next event lux needs to be bought when you have the previous event lux. Sure it's awesome if you can sink the money into the game to buy it or farm it but not absolutely necessary.

I like a lot of the 180 and 200 lux bracers much more than the event bracers and they run less than half the cost. And, then again, we have a number of players wearing hrung braces over the event bracers.

So my question in all this really though is how do we reduce the cost of event lux without making the players that previously bought event lux downright livid?

The reason we want to lower the prices is so that otm doesn't increase them even further. At first the event gear cost a mil for one item, then it jumped to 1.5-2m for one item. imo, at the rate if it doesn't stop eventually it will get to 5m+ or heck even 10m+ once enough time passes.

One way is to give the old lux a higher vendor buy back price more than 50%. If mounts are brought back to 1m and the old 2m mounts have a vendor value of say, 1.75m or even 1.5m, more folks can accept that. same with other overpriced items like the Stargem set that cost a whopping 3.75m.

Its been suggested on other threads on the same topic, and its the ideal solution bc players can either keep it bc they like it, or get most of the money they spent on it back and get the new much better priced lux. Its not so hard to fix the game, it seems more like otm is scared of doing it, as they keep on avoiding the topic (like my picture shows). Why are they so scared? Idk... Too much work? Dont think the issue is major enough to focus on over making new capes and animated birds that follow you?..... Its sad either way
