I am 197 and need to complete the dl main and offhand quests still but your lock groups stop me from doing it, so can I join your lock groups for drops?
I'm absolutely positive you can! But will your clan allow for it? I see a game of free-verse and universal prosperity, a free-for-all. I'd love to see everyone achieve their goals rather than to see the few constrain the vital progression that is our very purpose of the game.
My clan allowed it, but unfortunately it seems yours did not as I was regrouped around when more of your people showed up :(
I thought we had a thoughtful conversation together on the premises of clan agreements for the time being. Things can't happen in an instance. However, I managed to open up and see what's up xd

If I had it my way, all players that needed drops from snorri and sreng would all show up and then roll on the drops. It wouldn't matter what clan tag was above the toon. We have a situation on my server that we have 1 clan has members that camps dl bosses and nothing else. They will then call another clan because the 2 are not competing for the same drops. In order for my clan to get gear now it forces us to camp. I find this the most miserable, boring part of the game that I would rather quit the game than camp.

As far as bosses like hrung and above, the strongest dps group (group that does the most dmg) should win lock. A 180 rogue should not be able to outlock a 220 rogue. A 180 rogue should not be able to outlock a 210 mage.

I don't think if you're a clan of 7 or a clan of 9 million you should get preferential treatment. Because you can afford to buy 17 devices to log 72 toons vs someone that can only afford to buy 1 device shouldn't get preferential treatment. This is not an underdog wins fairy tale movie.

A 170 warrior should never be able to pull aggro from a 200 warrior.

Sigh. I can't believe this thread keeps going on the your clan did this and your clan did that comments. Who cares?

For the sake of this thread can we have a discussion on what is the most objective manner in which bosses are locked.

I think the best way to do this is to pretend like there isn't clans in this game. So it takes individual players forming groups to kill bosses.

So no clans from this point and only individual players.

It's ridiculous that me with my 210 levels and edl/garanak/hrung/mord/necro gear cannot outlock a level 17 n00b with starter gear on hagvar, seriously who thought it was a good idea to make it imposible for me to kill absolutely every hagvar that spawns. What's coming next? Target locks on items, say goodbye to chicken farming forever.

Curry why do you still try to say I stole my DL Bp? I will give it to you. You did camp. As did I, I also leveled 170times before you did once, and tell me who camped about 28dl bosses solo in one day with proof. That's one day I also campped and called aggy that day. To add to the list of reasons why I was rewarded with my breast plate. Idk who else wouldn't give it to me.

Again it's been said many times keep target lock on all low level bosses sreng troll edl and all endgame shouldn't have target lock. Especially with the low drop rates of crown to have ppl over 210 with no dl weapons is stupid because of a flawed lock system and crappy spawn and drop rates. Otm losing more and more players everyday because of things like this it needs to change and change now. Just start a thread and have a vote players on all servers and see what your customers want otm. target lock on endgame will be voted gone ill stake anything on it!
