Yes but I need health and energy much more than attack, that helm came in perfectly for me, also, Im fully heat dmg.

It may be the best DPS helm to use in tower with poison being botched up, so that takes moon out of the equation. Sun is still a good helm but doesn't provide attack.

Poison is still good in the tower. After running different dmg types through the tower we found that while poison was resisted quite a bit more than it was in carrow and other areas, it was still the least resisted of the dmg types

How did you carry out the test
Did you use lures in any of those tests to compare if poison was any better then heat dmg or cold dmg while one or both of those were being lured?
I have my own theory on poison resist also but I have no proof to back it up

I'll have my 2 clan mates that ran the test post the specifics. But they used auto dmg only and used cold, heat, mgc, and poison dmg rings of the same dmg value.

They did take account into fluctuations. But kept track of numbers and after a ton of mobs came out with poison always hit harder than the other dmg types. Heat came close in the tower btw which I found interesting since there's so much heat/fire dmg in the tower

^That's interesting, I always thought personally that the poison dmg was relatively the same as heat cold and magic dmg while they are on lures. Excluding krothur the condemned and its adds I believe they have higher resists to poison. Looking forward to what your clannies have to say

@Zyz, but what about when the dmg is lured (physical and elemental, anything but poison in other words), wouldnt it make the dmg superior to poison as it doesnt have a lure? Except magic cus only lure mages use that, thus why my biggest fear is that if I'll ever get void str halberd it'll be magic dmg :S

Yeah I believe it's only the EDL bosses that are ment to resist poison, forgot about that

This was just in regards to normal mobs and not bosses. As far as bosses go, it'd be whatever is being lured would be the superior dmg type. Sorry I wasn't a bit more clear.

Yea we did only on normal 2/3/4* mobs in all floors. Tried with elemental hrung dmg rings only as dmg(no dl or any weps). So when poison showed 68 page dmg we were gettin like 35-45..sometimes 50.Others showed wayy lower.
And yeah on lures fire/cold mightve been better but most of us doesnt have lure buddy for lixin and wanted to get this msg across. Bosses wud be diff story
