He's pretty experienced.

Sharpshot can actually be good for the entire game if u buy the stuff to boost it. Otherwise it starts to become crap at 120 where aggy rings start being available for use.

This is my second 100+ ranger. First only got till 120 tho so I know this little part of the ranger very well.

Its hilarious how ur even asking me if that's in the stats page because i gave a range of 300 damage. In the stats menu it says it should do about 800 i believe and my auto damage im stats says 332 or so.

This is with terrible lux, only have quigley golden quiver.

And no I am not trolling, u r probably one of the people who quickly sk at low levels and completely missed the experience of this class at low levels.

I run a 1-2-0-2 build and sharpshot does often more damge than long shot. Ill report when sharp shot goes bad.

I'm confused what lure of soldiers has to do with a rangers auto?

Throwing in shatter and a lure totally jacks the dmg up.

Skills are different than melee.

With a lure and shatter, my melee dmg goes up 3x. So I'm still confused what you're point was other than to call someone names

Thats a minimum. And he has the cheap 20k quiv.

I never had problems with a auto ranger. I actually was wasting lixes in dex build every time I tried it, idk if its me or my gear although I've always had the gear for both builds. Dex built rangers just don't have good damage output. Over a long period of time at bosses, plus the DL quiver screams for your ranger to be an auto ranger from what I have heard it does. I wish I had one to see what they do to bosses!

I'm confused... You have a lvl 41 ranger and you giving advice in build to a lvl 70+ ??? And then you trashing the advice of a lvl 180+ ???
You my friend should play the game and not posting on forums about things u have no knowledge at all.

There is a line, at lower levels, where dex and auto builds are more effective.

A dex ranger is a poor mans build. If someone has bad lux, they can get quite good dps using it as well as a nice heal.

Someone with very good lux should not go the dex way. The lux is so good that the auto is better than the dex build skills. As well, when using sc or haste lixes, rangers would not use skills as it would destroy their dps.

So a dex ranger is for someone without lux and lixes.

Go dex build until 120 with good longshot and sharpshot rings then auto build. Only go auto if you combo or use haste lixes during training.
