Funny, ive been training my spear ability recently and saw the difference in dps, just off an ancient spear from shale vendor. I can understand why rangers go that way, but i will never put down the bow lol

Mordy spear counts as spear. But no one on Android has a mord spear. The one I had on my toon is an aggy trident

I know that Mordy spear counts as spear, but if you are fighting with the aggy trident, does it level you spear ability? what ability does it level, i'm just curious.

It would level spear ability if the class can gain spear ability. My druid can use the aggy trident but can't get a trident ability. I have it because it looks cool mainly XD

I see. thats awesome and yes it does look cool. never seen Zyz with a trident equipped but it would be cool. Hey i was also just curious and this is off topic, but what helm is that you have equipped and always wear? it has the horns on it. really cool helm.

It's a godly helm of nature's touch from hrung. Gives +10 to touch and a direct 450 bonus heal points and something like 200 focus. It breaks my dl aura but the alch armor is better anyway.

Nothing worse than breaking a aura. but awesome specs!! thats nice.

Curry Most of your posts are pointless and unhelpful. Please don't even respond to this, i don't like it when you talk. Spear ranger is not a great idea. i'm never going to put the bow down either Gazz. i will always go bow. but i want to train my spear ability and have some fun with it.

Zyz, does the mordy trident count as a spear? i noticed today that it doesnt have any class requirements. where normal spears have a ranger rogue warrior requirement.

Does anyone have a extra Mordy Spear?

With the right gear rangers using spear is nice. But for it to pass it takes alot of nice gear, and understanding that you are not able to kill mordris. If you are using good hp\damage adding gear, along with a mord spear you will be pushing higher damage then a bow but also less survivability. I leveled my ranger with a spear until around 155 then went back to bow. The damage was there but the health wasn't for me.

1dex-per lvl
2vit-per lvl
Sharpen weps (max)
Double attack (max
Light heal (max)
Camouflage (to desired lvl)
Skewer (level 1)
Rest into rapid
I have came to the assumption that the 180shop lux can be a huge part in spear ranger builds. The str\hprings are superb. As well as the offhand dmg str axe for most dmg output. Hungy dmg\hp or dmg\defense bracelets. And the
150\150 vit\str ammy would make your dps and survivability great. Not to mention DL aura and dmg adds. I wish I had all that stuff but anyways I hope that the build helps you if you have the chance to try it.

Thanks, yes it really helped alot, thanks for taking the time to compile that, i think the idea of a spear ranger is really cool. I don't know if i could ever quite give up the bow, but the idea of a spear sounds fun, and i have always thought it was very unique that i can wield it if i choose to.
