And Btw , I Agree With Loco , Rangers Aren't That Good , Maybe In Armor Better Than Mages , That's It , In Lvling , You Have To Be In Group To Maximize The Xp , In Solo Rangers Are Bad , When Bolasing They Just Run Some Distance To Find Out Another Mob Waiting For Him , Then The Mob He Bolased Just Reaches To Him In 2 Secs And Kill Him , And Lose Lix Time , Mages Can Keep Up In Solo , They Can Use Energy Shield , They Dont' Run Out Of Energy Much , Their Damage Is Powerful.

I've played both to end game. One isn't best in everything, it really depends. If you are playing it solo and not two+ device id say the easiest and cheapest in the short term is a ranger. However a mage is more versatile and you will likely find its a bit easier to get end game equips, i find they are more fun to play.

Dps wise it really depends on many variables and is hard to say. Nothing beats a mage training at dobby adds as my firestorm/iceblast hits mobs for an easy combined 24 thousand/ 24 thousand damage (8 mobs). Hard to out do 50 thousand damage in 2seconds if both hit. Then again there are many cases where rangers do more dps.

^my clan never had very much trouble gearing both ranger or mage. But mage drops are more common then ranger I can give you that. One thing that mages do reign supreme with it lures. Without them alot of bosses would be very difficult to kill. In other means I'm hoping mages do get a big jump when the new update comes out I may level one with a rogue.

Mages are getting massive improvements during the update. Rangers are getting left behind in the dust
