Dmg fluctuation has been fixed for SKILLS. this is useless for rangers as 90% of them don't use any skills besides dbl, and that's effected by our auto.

Exactly. This should help other classes but is of little use to rangers in their current state.

Through n through I made a ranger and leveled it up because I love how they play. But changes definitely needed.

The title to this thread makes no sense. Rangers are getting an enormous boost, at least dex based Rangers are. All those evasion boosts will aid us greatly. Perhaps it's time for all the strength junkies to go dex and play a real ranger for a change.

Laughing at play a real ranger. I can get 3 autos off faster than longshot which will do more dmg even with maxed longshot on maxed dex build. My double shot does more dmg than long shot. My sharp shot on a full dex build doesn't do much dmg over my auto on str build.

All a dex build and using skills like long shot and sharp shot and barbed does is eat energy and make kills take longer. Fix the skills to make dex an attractive option

You're a 120 ranger, at that level sharp and longshot do acceptable damage, level up some more and then lecture rangers about how great their skills are

And for all you auto rangers....longshot actually does more damage as a str build, since it already adds 1 dmg point per statpage damage, while it also adds 1. Dmg per dex point.

Not sure which planet you guys are on, but full @ full dex (1800) actually has a weaker longshot than a auto ranger.

I don't think u read what zyz said...u can get enough autos off by the time longshot casts to deal more damage.

Either way, what zyz said is true. On a haste lix I don't cast any spells besides steady and sharpen ever time they expire, and an occasional bolas. I do more dmg in the time it takes me to pull off my longshot.
