Shadowstrike is one of the newer skills added to the game. It's nice to have but not an essential skill

It's 2yrs old. Dps is terrible without poisonndng. I c where UR coming from but the drop rate needs a 15% increase at the least

I don't think it's rare at all I have had 3 Ss skill books at one stage I find firestorm is harder to obtain than ss.

I know some ppl who get it fairly easily and I cant, but regardless, its not a must.

I've farmed more than anyone on my world, possibly anyone on all servers. On my server I am 3 of the top 5 rogue spots for 4* kills from farming this tome. I think I've gotten close to 100 tomes. It is 5 times less common than other books, I have thousands upon thousands of junk tomes I will never sell and am 100% certain of the mob drop rate. You will need to kill around 1500 4* mobs to get a 70% chance of at least one ss tome.


I am less certain of the ancient wyrm and elder revenant boss drop rate but I believe it is not 5x less common but as common as other books. I'm less certain as I have only gotten about 5-600 kills. For awhile I had dedicated teams that I logged to kill them so I didn't have to move but am revamping at the moment. I'll replace them with smaller teams since I hate having to move.

As to why? The worlds of ch may never know.

I have 3 ss tomes atm, and never had to farm for weeks to get them. I'm thinking perhaps your one of the unlucky few that just has bad luck at getting them, wouldn't be surprised if at the time you take a break from farming it's the next mob that spawns who has the time and you miss out because you stopped
