The summer event will be very soon with an announcement posted both on the forum and on social media.

I love the vagueness of your messages. Very soon to me, means today or tomorrow. Is that your definition of very soon?

If I was to give away the date of the release in this thread only a small proportion of the forum would see it.

We post to the announcement board as it has the largest reach to all players.

The post is vague as putting in summer is not as easy as hitting a button and everything works and I would not like to tell you heroes a set date and everything go wrong.

All I can say today is it is very soon and the announcement is written, you wont be waiting much longer.

This is unfair, its allmost the end of summer, why have seasonal updates if their never gonna be on time, by now samhain update should be sent its that late

Why does the event have to go for so short? If otm prolongs this event and does Samhain later around Christmas time, who cares if the events don't collaborate with irl it's a game

Now just to be clear - I said that Beltane will be short event because admins said that next event will be in October. Several times. I don't care if events follow actual real life seasons. I care that a lot of ppl will be disappointed because they won't have enough time to collect a set.
The other point is that seasonal events are seasonal. You can't have Christmas event in July.

CH doesn't really have "events" anymore, this game has evolved into a cycle of temporary content.

Events are usually short, I feel it should only last a month. Event items are supposed to be mostly novelty and shouldn't replace boss drop loots, but that is not the case in CH.

I think it would be better overall if events are shortened, bosses only spawned 2-3x a day and only drop one tier of loot so it's not diluted. All drops should be useful, unlike this past Ostara event where all royal items went to bank.

I would rank it alongside the Yule event with Natan as one of the most boring and most unbalanced in terms of effort vs reward. At least the gold is better than Natan who dropped a whopping 70g for each member.

Well... Tbh there's nothing to do between events. And I don't get it why ppl say yuletide was bad event. For me yuletide was the best event - the weapons were real good (better than shop equivalents) and that gave us the push to kill those obes.

Sure the weapons were great and some of the braces. However the 2k auto about every 10 seconds sucked. Even made a couple rogues in our clan by a lux quiver and use a crafted shortbow just to avoid it.
