Yes, we got off topic and ended up talking about skill balance instead of drop rates, however I think the two go hand in hand.

If you're going to have skills that are used by a minority, items for them should be dropped in minority too, right? That way a royal ring of shadowstrike will sell for the same amount as a royal ring of rend, instead of having a 150k difference.
That's if you think they are the minority, many of these players are there you may just not see them as many are from all around the world or just don't talk much (That's cool if you don't talk :))

I will suggest making future items more accessible to all and that they are more equally balanced :)

OP was talking about banked loot, there is a lot of lower tier gear that IS worth using. I too think the drop rate is fine. This does essentially come down to skill balance. Most of the banked loot is for gear that boosts skills no one uses, if they were revamped to make them useable then suddenly junk loot wouldnt be so useless.

Then Muldars next research project is class balance haha :) This is something I know the team are active on and even Kodelia has brought up stuff about it (Or Kodelias just a bad druid who knows ;))

It is something I want to look deeper into, Core your post has actually been useful :)

(Also made my signature all colorful haha)

Muldar,
You should do a database search and look at all the loot that has dropped from these raid bosses. I'm sure OTM has it accessible.
You should then see what people have equipped and favorited.

This would allow you to see what is used and what is not. Also break it down by world, level, and clan.

You should do the same for skills - spring of life was broken (bugged) for 9 months and virtually no one noticed because it is perhaps the least used skill in the game.

Getting statistics on your game is extremely important for developing a happy customer base and gives you a way to pull facts from actual use rather than opinions.

Stupid op and a stupid threa, rare drops are supposed to be rare it's unfair for a dominant clan to get all the beat drops they want because it causes inequality

So... the garbage skill items Hrung and Mord drop are fine because there are these super stealthy players who are all over level 180 who don't attend raids and never talk but they'd love to have them.
Am I understanding this right?

This is Hrungnirs Loot List. I am posting it as a point of discussion. The things in RED are consistently put into the bank and almost never used. People might look at them and say "Well, I could use that!", but the thing is the deluxe shops have better items available. Not to mention if a person has Frozen, Dragonlord or Exalted Dragonlord armor and do not want to break their set aura with a helm.

477 Total items with more than half that will never ever be used. And I was being really generous with the bracelets. Maybe some mages use the helms, or some other items, I wont argue. Point is TOO MUCH RED!
