Attention people of Lugh! It is time to wake from our slumber. For too long we have watched our land grow weak, and the people increasingly ignorant of our valued customs and traditions, replacing them with greed. Well, I have had enough: ENOUGH! The time has come when each and every one of us will have to decide for ourselves what we will be known for, standing against greed, and standing for the good of the server, and clan collaboration. OR if you will succumb to greed and you will see our server, one of the greatest in the history of Celtic Heroes to be destroyed and lost forever. The time to act is now.
Our server has for the longest time been the crown jewel of player cooperation to not fight each other, but to overcome even bigger obstacles than ever before. Since our inception we have strived to create a fun friendly environment that would welcome players, not turn them away. As a server: We, all of us, worked together to create a server that everyone knew of. On the forums when someone wanted a server that would be open to new players, that would rather gear themselves easily, and to level, rather than losing time and time again the needed quest items because of the other players who were interested in them for themselves because of greed, not because they needed the items. The question we stand before is this, Will we allow this to be lost, will we allow greed to become the defining aspect of our server, rather than community?
When I came to Lugh back during the winter/spring of 2013, our server understood what it was like to be courteous. People understood respect, and were willing to put others first, above themselves. We had less of an issue then than we do now regarding scammers, drop runners, and people using curses as their main vocabulary. People took alongside others, and mentored them. Clans were more interested in player’s well-being, rather than gearing an elite and striving to dominate endgame. People cared. Our decline of integrity, morals, and character is what has driven us to this defining time in our history. Throughout these past times, our server has lost many players: but those that remained have not taken up the mantle of leadership and cooperation! Men and women of Lugh, to lead is not to be the best, but rather to be a Shepard and servant to the rest.
Some players have tried to ‘ban’ players, but that’s not what we stand for. Some claim that they are trying to keep our server pure, to maintain law and order. This is wrong, I’m guilty of this line of ideological thinking, as are many of you. Lugh is not about the punishment of players, the driving away of them. Lugh, is rather the opposite. Lugh is about the people, about forgiveness, the bringing together, not the driving apart. We lost sight of this, we strayed from this. As a result of our failings, our server has suffered. The course of action that needs to be taken is to welcome everyone back into the fold, when people fail, as some will. We need to not try to crush them, but rather build them up. I propose that we never ban someone for good, rather there is always a way they can rejoin the server (eg if they stole an item or drop, when they return it, we welcome them back). Never should we cast anyone out. If they do not want to act civilly about this, we will treat them with respect, and be inclusive until they decide they wish to rejoin the community of Lugh. While they remain in exile of their own choosing, we shall not berate them for it, but plead with them to do what is right. It is a choice of how one will act, you can’t force it on them. What will be your choice?
In recent times people and entire clans have stood in the face of this. They have declared that they alone will reap the profits that the server sowed. Do not think for a minute anyone got where they are today by themselves. Nay, that is foolish. We were once a peaceful server of cooperation, but as a server we strayed from this. Now it is up to us to return.
I am plain tired of the name calling, the cursing, and the berating of other players. This has got to stop. Lugh has been, and will be great again because WE BUILD EACH OTHER UP, not because we grind each other into a rage. I do so proclaim that since this is not what is best for myself, my clan, my server: That I don’t want to berate any of you. If I fall, as I probably will, I want you to approach me about it, and remind me it isn’t about winning the argument, it’s about winning a brother back. (Or sister as the case may be). I make this stand, I ask that you guys hold me accountable, and that you consider if you will not do the same.
It sad sad that I feel this issue needs to be addressed, but since it has become a major point of contention, I will state my concerns. Bosses: our issues seem to fall into 3 categories: if/when should you call others, when it is too late to join a boss with hopes of drops, and who is allowed to win which drops. I’ll start with the first issue, then move on down the line. 1- Calling others to bosses, often clan and friends happen both in game and via communication apps like kik and weechat. Calling people to bosses is always optional, and your feelings should not be hurt if you are not called by clan and friends. It is YOUR responsibility to camp and check bosses that you need, not for them to camp the boss for you. 2- When it is to late to join a boss: The general rule for this is when the boss gets the lock symbol (appears near their name), or when its health reaches ½. Players can still join and dice for drops IF all players that stand to win the drops they will be rolling for agree to allow him to join. Endgame bosses like mordy, necro etc may have special lock times. ###I propose that mordy’s lock time be moved from first sent pull to a later time as that will help reduce tension over getting their immediately, as well as reducing the likely hood of players feelings getting hurt because the players their tried to game the system to limit anyone else from joining before they were ready to begin.### *Players that are in self-imposed exile because of an action they took against the server may not be allowed to dice for drops, but this is not set in stone, as not all bosses will they be barred from(maybe no bans from armor?). 3- self-explanatory, but you dice for items you can use, so rogues only try to win rogue drops, not trying to get mage drops… An exception for this rule is if they publically declare BEFORE the boss is locked that they wish to dice as another class. In the case the drop isn’t for a particular class, all classes roll. A consensus was reached about this issue, see topics on forum for more details.
For Lugh, Clans are not about trying to claim bosses for themselves, but about player cooperation and ease of communication. Players tend to be in clans with likeminded individuals, but not until recently has such a clan tried to impose a new set of rules upon the server. I will not stand by and watch as tyrants take down our way of life. I will no longer be passive about this issue. I will not support any who oppose freedom and peaceful collaboration on Lugh. Your time is coming to a close, the age of prosperity is coming! Let Lugh become great once more, join me and stand on the traditions of those that came before us. This is not about ourselves, its greater than that. This is about being the beacon of light to others, showing there is a better way- that together, great things will be done.
This is case. I plead with you, don’t let tyrants run this server. Stand for what is right, pick up the mantle of leadership, and lead this server into a golden age the likes of which haven’t been seen before! Who will stand with me?

#4Druidmeno3 I may not be from you server and don't understand how things are there but I am glad that there are people out there striving to see a server progress into an amazing place for all to play both new and old players. It won't be an easy thing to acomplish but wish you guys the best luck
