I firstly want to start this thread by saying that I aim to remain as impartial as possible. As some of you may know, I'm not the most active of players, so what I write here are based on what I have gathered from the forums, and my half an hour or so I play every few days. I have got a lot of grief from some people in the past for speaking out of turn, so please appreciate that I understand that I may sound naive at times; if I am, please be constructive about it rather than flame me.
There is no doubt that Lugh used to be much more cooperative than it currently is, and this may well be natural: plenty of other worlds are like this. However, it is disheartening to see this world turn into one of clan wars, exclusion and tension. Players should log onto the game to have fun, not to argue and bicker. Some people are treating this as a political way of life than a game. If one user is discriminated against because of the clan they're in, then this shouldn't be tolerated - it won't be in the country I live in, that's for sure.
So what do I suggest?
Clans should have rules. If someone breaks these rules, then that user should be punished by Lugh, not the whole clan itself.
Cooperation between clans should be promoted. Dominant clans should help themselves by helping others too. Being a hated strong clan is far worse than being an admirable strong clan.
Talking and discussion should be promoted over blind immature fighting and arena battles. Countries in this world (or very few of them, at least) go to war without having a discussion first.
Anyway, I would say more, but I need to log off soon :3
I hope I am making some sort of sense, and as I said, I know I may not know the full story and I appreciate that. Whatever Lugh chooses to do, I sure hope it doesn't descend into the chaos that some worlds dip in and out of. Make this a world to envy; a world people would clamber to join.
Peace out
