Sharpen Weapons?

#1
hey guys, so my current build is pictured below.

I want to go to a full auto ranger, so I'm going to rebirth to 5 dex, 200 vit and the rest strength.

The skills I plan on using are
Rapid: 30/30
Light Heal 35/30
Double Shot 30/30
???????

The last skill is going to be either sharpen weapons, or steady aim. Which adds more damage? I assume it's sharpen weapons, and if so I'll pick that because it's also an aoe effect. My remaining points will go into steady aim, providing it is the lesser of the two skills damage wise.

This claim of sharpen adding more damage is misinformation spread across the forums. Steady adds more damage and gives a nice attack boost. Only choose sharpen over steady if you will be mostly training in a group.

Nicely said but I still wouldn't use sharpen over steady. It's real hard to gather the whole group midlix so close that u can cast sharpen effectively.

I use Bolas, steady, sharpen, double, rapid in order of priority as a str build. Steady casts slower, but is more damage and adds attack. Sharpen is fast casting, but adds less damage, no attack, and has the benefit of being useful for a group. I guess if I had to pick, id use steady first.

After last update steady casts faster than sharpen.
