This thread will get locked for sure since every thread boils down to bashing on OTM.
Just being honest. "It's an event set" - doesn't that mean it has to be rare. It's a marginal upgrade from Garanak. It's even sometimes inferior to level 200 lux, but definitely comparable and players will use it if they don't have to spend millions of gold. The fact that it's a limited time item, already makes it rare. Just check how many Radiant Earthstone sets there are left.
Sorry, but some of us just don't believe everything OTM says. We play this game more than OTM does, and that's just a fact.
There's a difference between criticize and bash. I've seen some great threads with criticism get locked because then people just start posting dribble like "otm is greedy."
Maybe they are. Maybe they aren't. But bashing comments don't add to a discussion unless the discussion is meant for a chest beating soap box.
I've said from the beginning that this game should cater to the players at the level that are of skain equippable level. These are the players that shown faithfulness in using a company's product and helped to provide financially for it. Based on the drops, the developers don't seem to share this view. The amount of drops people won't use is huge in comparison to the drops people will use. On fingal no one feels they are getting a return investment for their time and plat items they are using to kill a 6* skain so it continues to sit. Players are using the time it would take to kill a 6* skain to farm gold to just buy the lvl 200 vendor stuff.
The humor in all this is so many of us on fingal spent the time to be able to kill lvl 200 event bosses. And now that we can, we feel it's a waste of time.
