How about a 2 for 1 plat so if you buy 10 plat you get 20, or if you buy 1000 you get 2000 etc. Is that a good idea?

pieces of Birthday cake (just birthday events)
cookies (birthday, winter)
candy (Halloween, birthday, winter)
"These items give bonuses and are dropped by all mobs. also given by birthday quests"
Quest idea's:
Help recover birthday candles from mobs
Deliver invitations to npc's after that you get an invitation and are allowed to go in the tavern.
troublemakers, a guard should give this quest. Saying he heard there are some troublemakers somewhere and you should teach them a lesson. "kill mobs with hands"
and one or two day's before the date the tavern will need a make over. Many npc's need to be there. some from stonevale / shalemont / castle. Some guards outside the tavern.
Also it would be fun if the smuggler would be outside like he was trown out of the party. (It still has to be possible to accept the quest)
So the idea is that the somewhat "rich/important" people celebrate at the tavern. And that by example servants replace some shop keepers like the luxery shop.
The castle should also have a little make over and many npc's could also stay here and in the tavern.
Mclir could still be on his own place with the quest line and in the tavern.
(maybe it's possible to add random text balloons above heads.)

I already knew that in some French games and it's really not funny.
