Yes it causes eyestrain. There is a reason why books don't come in multi-color text.

But it also enables one to generate fake whispers, etc. (not sure if that was fixed).

Well, some people may get "annoyed" but whats so annoying about some colored text? some people may use it to grab attention, or to make themselves stand out and seem unique, like Infinity does when he posts. It totally isnt something that should be banned just because a few dudes think its a lil tedious

*edit* you could make a filter that stops people spamming color. Just a seed of an idea, planting it in the soil, so that others can water it and watch it grow.

Yeah after your post, they just started spam about "eye strain" and "people acting like 7 year olds". Well check it out: look what was just proposed here... A COLOR TOGGLE OPTION.... GENIUS!!! Now why are they acting childish and ignoring this incredible solution to the said problem. I WANT COLOR PLEASE It causes eye strain when I can't read the purple text and red text is the same story.... If an option to toggle color was added, it would solve all problems.

i don't think color would be wise, when someone shouts a huge list and its in blue i think its a clan chat and it messes with the chats. keep shout red, clan blue, normal yellow, whisper purple, and group green please.
also people would type out a line perfect so they could type a message in white color and it would seem like a server announcement.

That's why I proposed a Feature that will turn the color on or off. I shouldn't be disallowed to use colored text just because some people are what, afraid?? You could turn off the color feature if you can't handle the "Eye Strain" ._. I, for one, can't handle the dark text from Shout and Whisper. THATS WHAT STRAINS MY EYES >.>-------------O.o

I am going to make a petition about this. Keep your eyes open.
