I wonder if spear with runic dagger of spite ( with 4 runic valor) is comparable with hammer and axe offhand (with three valor rings and a haste ring)

Runic dagger of spite brings 40 piercing which upgrades the spear dmg and gives 120 poison dmg, but it gives useless 120 dex. Also 30 percent attack speed. The extra valor ring adds 100 str and 600 hp more. (With spear, I'm unable to use rupture)

The offhand axe adds 210 strenght but the 400 elemental dmg (fire,cold,magic) will run into elemental resistance. The haste ring has 400 attk and 50 magic dmg. But the flame and cold axe would be more preferable because of mages lures.

Which would be better for lvling, pvp and bossing??

Ive heard that if you switch to a club, can be low lvl nub club cast rupture then switch to spear while rupture still casting your spear dmg will apply to rupture.

I used spear and runic spite dagger. Through testing i found that the dagger added more damage than the axe offhand aswell as freed up another ring slot. Also if you use frenzy like i did then the dagger boosts that more than the str from axe

sucks that u cant do that now, u arent allowed to switch midcast anymore. bit bummed out bout that :/

^Yes u can and I still can, but it seems that not everyone are able to do that.

I use to be able to switch back to spear midcast but cannot now after the last event patch. I'm surprised you're still able too Criminal.

Otm just thought they'll give this amazing skill to one person only, like in SAO.
