Well skain had a high poison resist. I never tested with a blood set (have Jalan/com) but poison weapon does nothing and bees is a joke. My 50 bees did about 30-50 damage on the lvl60 tree, skain was just as bad. So I'm guessing a blood aura would suck badly there. Fire/ice and probably magic too would all be better.

When shadow actually hit it did some damage.

There was a mysterious update about a week or so into the event when this happened.

The adds didnt resist it at all - works great on them.

Not true, the boss does not have a very high resistance to poison

Seemed to possibly be a bug in his resists to other skills but we never did find out what was causing it :/

All data seemed correct but players were reporting damage going from 800+ down to 50.

Was reported after a simple config fix for emails not working correctly.

So bosses have resists to skills as well as damage types? Like a 200 damage shadowstrike which deals poison damage can hit less/greater than a 200 poison damage auto attack?

No I think it is just damage types in general? I may have to re ask but I am pretty certain it is just to specific elements (Fire, Ice etc).

Skain just suddenly went broken one day and confusion and QA testing set in.

Luck plays an equivocal role in the determination of progression. Our rival clan had 3 void spears when we 0. Now it's 3 to 1. We've been killing necro for months now. Rival clan has their first few kills and gets a shadow dagger, dark sword and a goldy bracelet of giants wing. Starting to think someone from rival clan is undercover otm

Just an FYI we have 4 void spears not 3

And 2 void helms as well i believe. Also, the reason we got the godly gs brace and shadow dagger from one kill is becos i attended it

Aww sanddweller you sure seem concerned for someone who doesn't have good endgame drops, and as it sounds like it, neither does your clan. In fact many of the people don't seem to be getting gear except a select few, how is that working for you?

Somehow we got multiple godly necro drops on our third kill. Maybe the bosses have some kind of karma algorithm?

I feel for you maybe you should start a thread about it.

Find it kind of unfair that we, the superior clan on taranis can spend all our time killing 6s with no luck

I don't think Taranis has bad drops in general.. We just happen to have a very unlucky "superior" clan

Was not meant to be a bashing post ravenleaf. Good luck to both clans in terms of luck- lol. Also as inferior as my gear may be, I'm sure I could wipe the floor with anyone of your 5 toons. .. Also I don't take this game seriously enough to have to apply karma to the drop rates. I play to win. So what if I didn't get a Skain ammy lol it is just 55 extra dex, as a ranger that 55 dex translates to about 60-70 attack, and 10-20 damage? Also your very first sentence contradicts itself, does it not make sense for someone who "doesn't have good endgame drops" to be concerned with matters such as these?? Also explain to me why our karma might lead us to get bad drops? What have we done wrong? If we have done something wrong, I beg your pardon noble sir and governer of taranis!! Oooooh mighty judge, show mercy- also wouldn't mind you sending some of that "luck". Although I doubt we will need it. Also after all the allocations of luck and mercy have been made, you might want to show us the right way!!!!! Aeon style!!! 99 idols but a drop aint one!!!!!
