Firebolt isn't 10 second cooldown, endgame mages actually have skulls ya know

3 fire hits is less than 2 ice hits. So fire gains the dps after storm recasts, then Ice gains after they recast ice shards so to have fire get totally ahead on dps about 18 seconds.

3 fire hits is not less than 2 ice hits. I hit 9k fb with a skull. No ice mages are hitting 13.5k with a skull. and 3 fb hits occurs after about 12-14 secs, not 18

@seipper ok, so supposedly I am the noob here. Could you give an example which fight would take 10 seconds? Could you also give me a graph where it shows that Ice does more damage till 10 seconds? I am not sure I can follow your genius thoughts. < I did a smiley so don't bash this post

@ seipper I just timed my firebolts and my firebolt recast time is 5.5-5.7 seconds. I use a dark firebolt skull. So with a shadow or void skull you can do two hits within 10 seconds.

* edit: I calculated and these are the recast results:
dark fb skull: 5.6 seconds cooldown
shadow fb skull 5.25 seconds cooldown
void fb skull: 4.9 seconds cooldown

10 seconds ice mages may have a chance, If a firemage has a void fb skull the ice-mage wont stand a chance(ceteris paribus). If it's within 12 seconds the ice mage will lose dps wise.

You are completely ignoring that ice mages can have skulls too, and they can be for shards.

Please tell me which boss locks in 10 seconds.

Only time a ice Mage is better for locks is 205 and 210

On gron fire Mage rekts on kroth ice is massively resistsed on unox fire Mage is way less resisted and even unox 5 would take 15 seconds or so to lock.

Please tell me which bosses you are talking about in your 'fast locks' 4* otherworld place holders?
