I am now totally screwed.
Spring of Life dropped and I now have the ability.
I now get to rez people... horray!

BUT WAIT!!!
I can only resurrect up to level 10
In order to Rez a level 100 toon I have to waste 20 points.
Talk about getting nerf.
And with the rate our warriors are leveling I and going to have to put the full 25 points in it or it becomes worthless.
We are already the weakest class and now it becomes expected that if we get this spell then we have to put 20 plus points into it.
So just forget about leveling...

All I can say is pray you do not get this spell to drop.
If you see it then run, dc, do anything to not get it.
Make some excuse like... wow it does not seem to want to trade for some reason....
Put it off as long as possible.

So, Admin, if your listening, think about changing the structure.
Have the spell rez any level, but have a 20 minute cool down
Put a point in it and it is now a 19 minute cool down
another point in it and its 18 minute cool down
At least this way I could use it at least once during a fight without nerfing my other skills.

Otherwise once you get to 110 as a druid your solo life is over because of clan pressure to rez...

I love the idea of points changing cooldown! That way Druids don't have to worry about different levels of difficulty for a skil that's as necessary as that. Our skill points are spread thinly enough as it is!

Also, is there a set price on this spell right now, and can it be traded to fairly lower levels? For instance, 60?

I got it off a boss drop in otherworld, actually the purple eye boss.
It is not for sale at any vendor.

When I say price, I meant like a common price you see it being sold for between players. I also didn't know whether it had a level limit on who can use it. Since I can't even kill a normal eye yet, I won't even TRY to get in on a boss group, haha

This is already a waste of time... My main is a warrior level 113 and alt is a druid level 84, so i can't rez my main now, unless i level my druid past 90 and get the extra skill points to take it to 25 and even if i do the rez brings them back to life to instantly die as they have now hp.... waste of effort.. Really hoped this would help with the mass consumption of idols - whoops wrong

So much potential, but way disappointed... like your idea for cool down points, but on top of that please make them rez with at least half hp (i know this has been mentioned elsewhere)

Before update i was liking the druid as a class, now not so much...

I took my Spring of Life to 20/25 and then if I need to Rez a higher lvl I have spring rings that I can quickly out on and Rez the high level and then take off.

The fact is you may not like the spell now but when yer going for your dragon fights in about a month that spell is gonna rock, so just keep it shelved until you need it. And save and bank the rings so you can use it correctly without needing to maroon too many points there.

All skills that ramp up 5 lvls/1 Skill point are useful if used with the rings. (Provided the Rings are working of course, and not bugged to hell).

. According to you, It's like everything I say or suggest goes right to the OTM developer hotline...if that was the case man Druid's would have jetpacks.

As did the beginning post...I see what you mean about this... We got two AWESOME new skills... I'm loving the group heal... And I AM looking forward to getting Rez... Just not so much looking for ward to deciding what I don't really need points in... That will be fun... Just imagine getting lightning punch too! Omg then what do you do?

wow, wow, wi, wow.... love the passion guys... This has got to tell you something OneThumb

Please take a look at this - people love the game (well i do anyways), but we are losing druids all the time because of class issues..... and to kill anything decent you need some bloody good druids. Look at the level charts and druids are by far the lowest level, they should be right up there with all other classes - I suggest you look at the following:

1] make the aggressive skills more effective (hit harder for less skills points) and quicker to use (its painfully slow to kill anything)
2] give all druids (over level 50) the new skills automatically
3] revamp the spring to life to die again skill (as mentioned above)

Lets grow this class, as its the most under used class in the game, but one of the most needed... All my own opinions, feel free to disagree, but something needs doing and quick.. Look forward to seeing a prompt reply..

I certainly agree I personally think that storm's touch should be the reward for killing luthor at the end of the ravine quest lines along with that rebirth.

I would like to believe that with the following months more skill books will be available in like SV than just what we have now, but I'm not sure about that. Some kf this is really gonna be a matter of what OTM can patch out, but if they do follow plan and get an Auction House to the Castle in the end of summer that would be a perfect place for multiple Druid and other class spell books.

It may just be a pipe dream, but it's my hope moving forward, bc yeah right now Druid life is tough going.
