Hello to all.

Today I have been accused by a guy named "sox" and his friend "snipersops" that I am covering a scammer known as "mike" ("mikeborough..." something don't remember) or "devine".

"Sox" claims he has a proof that "mrpvp" is "mike" and is accusing me I am covering for him by letting him stay in my clan. Well, yes, I have "mrpvp" in my clan at this very moment. But I have no solid proof he is "mike" and since I think we should follow the statement "innocent until proven guilty" and not the other way around I chose not to kick him out of my clan although it brought some troubles as I expected.

Now, "sox" is accusing me I am covering a scammer. Well, I am not. AFAIK "mrpvp" told me he was lending his device to his friend who played on it. And he also told me that his friend scammed using his device and "mrpvp" knew his friend scammed and that a guy named "devine" gave him some stuff before. Also he told me that he is scared because "snipper" accused him he is "mike" or "devine" and that he is afraid admin will block him because of it.

You might think I am naive believing him that he did not scam. I don't think so. I am just not making any conclusions nor prejudices. If I kicked someone out everytime he had been accused there would not be much people left in my clan. People are mad and jealous and do crazy things when trying to compromise others.

I also took into account that "mrpvp" said that "leprechaunt" is his brother. I have no reason not to belive him. Again AFAIK both "mrpvp" and "leprechaunt" were selling loads of elixirs and potions (tens of elixirs and hunders of potions). As you all know they can be obtained by byuing them in shop for real money. Not exclusively but if you buy it from other players you mostly don't want to sell them again because you won't do any profix doing this. And IMHO scammers rarely do spend their own money when they can steal from others and they are enjoying it.

Also take into account many players are kids, some quite unstable acting crazy and annoying others. If you wanna play with (mostly) sane players don't engage into playing "free" MMO. :-)

The truth is, that whether "mrpvp" scammed or not he is in real trouble because I believe admin has his device ID linked to scamming. Well, I say we let admin deal with it and if he decides, I am ok with banning all people proven to scam or steal stuff and I will be happy about it.

I never did scam nor steal stuff nor I knowingly covered for anyone doing so and I never will because I have no reason to do that and I don't like people doing that because it ruins the fun.

If anyone gives me a solid proof that someone is a scammer, not just a statement from some people I hardly know (no offence "snip") I am not that kind of person to make rush decision an kick or kill everyone on sight. I am well aware that some people might not like me for this but those who know me for a long time and I consider them as friends do know me and do know what I mean.

So, to "sox": please post any proof here so I can act as you ask or better contact support so they deal with it as the creators but do not dare to accuse me of covering others bad activities nor yell at me some crazy stuff in a burst of rage.

I can assure anyone that toycat wouldnt support a scammer.

Its very simple:
Someone is innocent till proven guilty.

So show us the proof and i am sure that toycat and the ancients will take appropiate action.

If no evidence is brought on the table it's just slander and the person who suggested this should be banned.

Ok. Here is why I accuse this char named Devine. Well I got scammed 2 fire obs and a Connacht iron ingot, 80k and a heroic rejuv. Next thing I know this rouge pops up. Full lux items and rich as heck.

I asked u to track my items and u said everclear had them, he does not he was transing them for someone. He would not tell me a name ether...

Toy- ur talking about "Prejudices" when u might be one as well, I bet that if Sam told u this u would have kicked him on the spot.

Ok, Snipe (not snip), sorry I misspelled your name. :-) I think I have clearly written the same device not the same account. And what I forgot to say that "mrpvp" told me it was another scammer, not "mike" nor "devine". Just to be clear, I am not making excuses for anyone. I just wrote here what I know and it's up to everyone to make his or hers own opinion. If what you said is true and "mrpvp" and "mike" or "devine" are (were) under the same account this will only speed up the process and helps admin to identify the scammer faster.

But please, realize one thing. You started a huge flame on Lugh which escalated in "sox" accusing me. AFAIK you have no proof yet you tell everyone that "mrpvp" IS "mike". How would you feel about if I start telling everyone that you and "sox" are actually "mike" and "devine" and that you two started this whole mess to cover up for yourself? There are many noobs who have no clue about you nor your history so this way I could easily ruin your reputation as well as you might just did with "mrpvp". In the real life people end up dead committing suicide because they cannot bear the false accusations and when the real bad guy is found it is too late. That's why we have "innocent till proven guilty". Obviously people in the game will most likely won't commit suicide and they most likely end up quitting the game only. But some people and kids are really sensitive often overreact and you never know what would they do. Would you be able to live with knowing that "mrpvp" killed himself because of your belief that he is a scammer having no proof of that? Next time think about the consequences.

Again, I am not covering up for anyone, but think about what you are doing when all you have is a suspicion that "the stuff you lost" appeared with another guy.
1) There is no proof it really is your stuff, the guy might just accidentaly bought similar stuff, borrow it from someone, or have if before and start to use it (I know cause I am switching stuff often). Only admin can (probably) track your items and that's exactly why the game support is here.
2) Did it ever occured to you, that the guy you see that he "has your stuff" might bought it from a scammer or one of scammer's secret alts without even knowing that he is buying scammed stuff? When you grow up and one day police confiscates your legally obtained car telling you that this car was stolen and you have to return it to the original owner without any compensation you might remember me. This is always an issue with used stuff you buy from other people or even companies. If it is not a brand new item from the company which creates it and sells it you never know if it was not stolen and is being sold.

I don't know. I am not your age and I am not you. FYI, "mike" tried to scam me too before but he did not succeed because I am trying to be careful about costy stuff. There are only a handful people I would trust to make a transfer for me but these are not kids (sorry, teens) and they have been here for long enought that I have almost certainty that they won't scam me.

Honestly, the game is swormed with scammers. The patch helped a lot but still if you are not careful you might get scammed. If you read the post about scamming here, which is very nicely written btw, then you would know that you mostly get scammed because you make something stupid. Seriosly, would you ask a guy you saw a few times to hold your bag with your wallet, a brand new notebook, and a high end phone for a few minutes till you finish you pee job? I don't think so and if you do then you either have an eternal belief in people's goodness or you are foolishly naive.

For me it's funny how you took it personally. If it has nothing to do with you why even bother mentioning it here?

As I clearly stated I do not know if he is lieing or not but I also don't know if he is telling the truth or not. As far as I know you I belive you were scammed and I just pointed out that the stuff you are shouting out loud has it's side effects you might not considered. And as for me I know I am not lying (obviously), but no one else can tell it for sure unless he or she reads my mind. So as I said (again) I just wrote here what I know and it's up to everyone to make his or hers mind.

Agreed. No point to get mad about this. Let's enjoy the game and hopefully people will have at least fun of our discussion.

Im not posting to accuse you. It sucks u lost your stuff. But when you accuse someone you should have wateright proof.
Till now i dont see that.
What i think toy means is that accusing someone can have big consequences.
Many people became involved and that should have been prevented.

Lets all hope the scammer will be tracked and banned and that u will be compensated for your lose.
I just hope you and othesr consider the consequences and think twice before accusating people and make sure when they do, their stories sticks.

To be clear on this, im not choosing a side in his matter. I will wait for the official outcome and then judge.
