Pretty sure the set gives an aura but the individual pieces don't. Now maybe they are expecting you to supplement the chaos resist with a heliant ring, but that still doesn't make up for the lost fire, ice, and magic resists you lose on the individual pieces.

Will wearing the whole set give you the dragon lord aura and the damage adds or not?

You guys make me laugh... It states on the armour does not cancel exalted dragon lord armour.... So obviously a set of doch tho give you exalted aura and its own aura

The aura itself isnt enough for chaos resists nor energy, I can understand armour and elemental resists (survivability sacrificed for dps), but chaos resist might even push u to actually be dead 99% of the time, and lack of energy so u cant even cast the skills u got direct dmg from the set. Also, I dont understand the addition of defence, its completely useless.

Defense while not needed on non tanks for bosses does help solo lixing or otherwise. But yes it seems to be op but in the same category made for a plat smash on any and all bosses. A dead dps does no dps. Some survivability in any armour is needed so we can do bosses without horrendous plat costs.

full doch gul is no longer edl armor why would it give aura? Think about it. Mix and match to keep aura or full doch ful for the skill boosts. It makes sense, casters will choose the set and melee will want to mix and match to keep the divine damage from aura. Either way melee dps will have problems with little to no chaos resistance on edls. Guess we will just have to wait and see

I believe its for lvl 220, or at least 215/216, so I doubt u will elix much more.

In my opinion its best for rangers! Rangers stand away from the aoe and the extra atk/dmg will help them aton! Also support druid who can avoid the aoe it would be perfect. But chars who are close to the boss it could mean they die all the time and be cursed as hell... Not sure this armour will be that good.

Have decided on going with pieces with attack for melee dps while casters will eventually be geared with a full set.

Think of the doch gul armor as a mordi helm an induvidual piece does not cancel dl/edl aura.
