After 200 red presents I had 10 blue and 35 purple

Gratz but this proves nothing. I am more than double that and I have neve seen a purple.

In fact it proves once more effort is not rewarded in these types of quests.

For a squishy char 100 armor can be useful as a free buff. I use quite often as a ranger when adds aggro i pop it and can stay alive a bit longer. Also its tradeable so can always send to alts to help level.

But isn't it a 1 use item? Like a potion? I dunno, but I don't think it's worth the time...

No it is unlimited uses.

Only the first quest reward is 1 use. After u do first quest of 25 red presents it opens up a list of the ofher kites. The different quests are the tiers of the kite, each requiring different amounts of presents. Those kites are unlimited use.

I get asked if I have them so often it's not even funny. I've only caught 1, was given 15k for it at buyers request. Finding those are like finding shadowstrike.. .

PS I'm still recovering from the 5 away left from finding mind borers.. .Left with them staring at me in inventory..

I got the eternal kite of guarding after many days of farming and buying. Buying is the best way to go, but you might as well farm in the mean time. Typically i recommend you buy off of noobs in lirs that have no idea what they found. Also 100 armor is a nice free and quick boost. It acts like an item, which is good as it is instacast and doesnt interrupt auto attack. The only cons to this item are that since it is an item, you'll have to wait a cooldown before using any other items, like pots. It also takes up one slot. Luckily it is infinite use and you should use whenever you arent near death

Woot! I found 1!!!!!!

It's a similar trend to the previous events. All quests leading up to the final item requirement are a cakewalk. Then you get hit with 5 sorcerous eyeballs and get confused and frustrated because after farming hundreds of other drops you've never even seen one.
