By now, if u have seen goodies' videos on how resurgence killed gele, it should be very clear what the strategy is.
1. Get 40 or more toons for the raid
2. Have tanks bash gele so it doesn't cast shield
3. Kill crystals as quick as you can when they respawn
4 that's it. Nothing more. It's that simple.
The finer aspects of the raid u can figure out from the videos. Gele is a case of no shield sure kill raid boss. Doesn't matter if it rages. U still can kill when it rages as long as no shield. So good luck. Hope to see more servers killing it.
And don't forget to post pics of drops from every kill. I love to see them.

#2Whether u Zerg kill or rage kill as some idiot put it, it doesn't matter as long as u kill and get the drops.better still if u can close your eye and afk kill.

#5Strategy isn't hard to figure out
Only difference between u guys and the other severs is number of toon available at one time

#6or the problem is, some servers are busy fighting each other instead of helping each other to kill a common boss.
Like Fridoo said, Gwydon got 120+ edl sets completed, but can't get 40 members online to kill a boss because of two dominant clans won't help each other.

#7Well, OTM's plan is force global peace by making us all cooperate to kill gelebron. It isnt working. I see more and more ppl going inactive or quitting everyday because of the ridiculous demands of these bosses. I get making them harder and require more resources but shouldnt the difficulty bell curve be set to the weakest server's doability and not the strongest server's?

Re: Gelebron kill strategy revealed ( spoiler alert)
#9I think gelebron doable with less than 40 when we get better gears and armour from gelebron and proteus drops. Just like necro now needs less compared to when we first started.
Re: Gelebron kill strategy revealed ( spoiler alert)
#10Bad comparison smelly. Necro needs far less now because
a) back then many people were 180-185 and doing less damage. Now 95% of dps at necros are 200+
b) high levels rogues often were dex build due to snorri and mordris. Because str is better in most of tower, more rogues have an optimal necro build as their normal setup
c) more dl rondels now, growing at basically a linear rate
d) better debuffs (higher lures, shatters, smokebombs, exposes)
e) better druids, so don't need as many
f) optimized strategy; know how many toons are needed for each role and more can be moved to dps
g) most importantly, divine damage. Necro has such high resist that divine damage usually makes up over a third of your total dps. Keeping in mind that rogues and rangers with edl offhand and a decent divine ring basically doubled their dps from pre-edl times, it's not hard to see why 2016 necro takes far fewer than 2014 necro.
you can't expect clans to cut down gelebron numbers as much. As you have stated, there is less strategy, fewer separated roles (nothing like a ghost group where several toons never hit necro). So tweaking strategy maybe cuts down on a couple toons. You also can't rely on more 220+ dps there; people quit or become inactive at a similar rate to new people hitting 220. You won't be getting massive gains in average dps per toon either...a new rondel here, a better divine ring there. But no doubling of dps
I'd make a similar argument for the other points, but that doesn't seem necessary. Point is, gelebron will stay up on a world as long as a clan can't get 40+ on for their first go. And a year from now, I don't see it taking much less than 35. Necro took 40+ on the first attempt for many worlds, but even then many of the toons weren't appropriately leveled due to lack of area level req. Now, due to the points I listed above, clans can kill with 16 (maybe even less). When would a clan kill gelebron with 16-20? I don't think doch gul, godly divine rings and prot braces, and everyone with edl wep/offhand gets you anywhere close
