441 Straight Snorri Spawns-19 6 stars

So, if 441 is a large enough sample-we are reporting OTM has a 4.3% spawn rate for Snorri. They have the time to do Friday Art Competitions, tinker with Proteus and Gelebron so Aileron stays happy, but can't fix the basic issue driving money straight out of their pockets. We had 20+ toons this weekend at multiple spawns from both dominant clans-for what? 2-3 crowns every other day? Evidently OTM has no desire to keep its customer base-just cater to a few hundred end gamers who will give us the "tough, we did it" answer.

Hey Gus,

We plan to make changes to Snorri in a future release (Though Design have not chosen what to do just yet)

I made a post about it here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=82047#p645211

Though not everyone may have seen it due to it being a reply to a thread.

Rest assured the Design Team are working hard on bringing new content to the game but plan to find time in their busy schedule.

I appreciate your party-line response, Muldar-but the fact is they found time to adjust Gelebrons difficulty and change the spawn frequency of Proteus...and we've been promised Snorri's fixes forever. Many clannies have quit the game over this-it's not just an annoyance like the leystone bug. It's an experience killer...

Gelebrons changes were made due to the Arcane Sanctum being the most recent update.

We had initially planned changes for Snorri previously but decided against them due to player feedback.

Upon further review we have decided to re examine the bottleneck and have planned changes.

So we've learned from this that when people ask for common sense changes that would benefit everyone, that it's not in anyone's best interest if you argue against them.
It's the people who just want to have an opposite opinion on everything. Even if it will benefit them and their clan, they have to go against it, it's in their blood, they just want to argue.

To Muldar. It's been nearly 3 years since Snorri was released and broken. A 3 year long bottleneck my man. This is the same thing that happened with Falgren but worse. I'll guarantee this game has lost many players because of both of these bottlenecks, and has frustrated every single player who has encountered them. The simple solution would be to follow the original Admin's claim as to NEVER do a coloured drop system again. That's clearly not going to happen though.

Muldar...im not even an end-game player but I have been around a while. It is absolutely ridiculous to say that what the players said about snorri changed OTM's mind about changing his spawn rate. I'm sorry but as long as I can remember people have been going on and on about the snorri issue. Either OTM completely ignored all those people for years and just focused on the one or two people who possibly disagreed, or they literally don't read the feedback forums at all.

Design informed me it was end game players who provided the feedback, the change was implemented in a beta and the feedback provided within that beta so not all may have saw.

That being said we have decided to re evaluate the Snorri bottleneck and plan to implement changes.

Even so. You tweaked proteus spawn rates even if it was just a little bit literally 5 days after it became obvious that the community didn't like what you had done. With snorri it has been years since it was obvious that end-game players were dissatisfied with it.

Which beta, and what changes were made to snorri in that beta?
