Auction house could destroy economy for plats. Pets drive plats sales. Pet food can only be bought using plats.

I'm curious as to why you think this. Every other mmorpg I've played it increases plat sales because items are much easier to sell. Chests, fashion, Lix all would sell easier making it less hassle to buy plat and more just getting to the fun. An auction house dosent make plat items from nothing, that's bounty quests. Great for sellers and buyers. What am I missing?

Great, just great. That makes me one of those crazy pet hoarders with like 40 cats, 22 dogs, 7 snakes, 43 birds, and various impromptu 'suprise pets' under piles of junk in a one bedroom apartment.
