I'm asking myself why they changed the graphics if they're only considering to merge android and apple servers. I can tell people liked the old graphics MUCH better... I've seen people quit the game because of the 'new' graphics.

I would love to get another device, or update my existing ones. but Apple is way too expensive. I would pick up an Android device since they are cheaper, but all my toons are on iOS.

It isn't pretty but playing on an iPhone 4s (not iPhone 4 they are too slow) is doable, even on raids. It does crash, but not as bad as an ipad2 which has the most problems with CH. iOS 7 or 8 helps. I've bought them used for 30-50 USD you just need to be a bit savvy to avoid getting scammed (interesting how mmo can teach you about the real world). They are the most cost effective iOS device for CH.

You could buy an iPod 6th gen also, that is the best new device for the money, but it costs as much as 4-7 iPhone 4s.

CH has a process/memory issue impacting and crashing all devices including my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s+. To temporarily fix it get rid of your cache/processes every few hours/day by doing the following:

Tap the home button and close CH
Double tap the home button and swipe off CH from the background (hold down and tap X on ios6)
Hold down lock button (top or side) and swipe off your device
Start your device up and load ch

You will chat faster, load faster, play smoother, crash less for up to around a day. It helps even flagship models, low performance models often see a night and day performance change.

the amount of time and work would cast aside all the other problems at hand. Basically, its not worth it, and the profit doesn't exactly outweigh the problems it would create.

I actually think it would solve the biggest problem so far. Many people aren't playing no more because of the lag on iOS, many people that have spent money and probably would continue to if they could play. Letting us play our ios accounts on android would get rid of the lag and maybe those people that quit due to the lag and crashing would start to play again and ofc spend more money.

Although I do not think this is a solution to the lag and crash on iOS, I would like to see the actual platform fixed and they must be able to do it cuz all my other games online or not play smooth. Sure I have to have some of them on low graphics but that completely stops it from lagging, not just reduces the lag like it does in this game. So I really don't think it's a problem with iOS 9 like I've been told. i think it's a problem with ch.

So your saying we will get rid of the lag on IOS by going to android and creating lag there because they're is so many people?

I really was a bad decision by OTM to not allow someone like me who started on ios just because I had an ipad, not be able to log into that character when I didn't buy a new one that worked.
After spending probably close to £2k advancing my character over 2 years, they have lose another £2k over the last 2 years because I'm not in my right mind going to start from scratch.
Noob mistake by OTM if you ask me.

Playing boom beach.
Why?
Because I can play alongside my brother who has an iPhone.

Just allow login in to the server you want from any device, it's honestly not hard to figure out.

I think the last discussion on this went something like "omg but then they'll be able to buy rare items and they'll ruin the ecomony!!!!Nooooo!!" Or something dramatic like that where people were worried about their nontangible, virtual items losing value.

I think it'd be cool myself. Let's say you're short a druid from killing a boss and have a friend that plays a druid, they could log in and help you.

If people were worried about others grabbing stuff so they could sell it on other worlds, just make anything they get from another server bind to that player.

This probably will never happen.

Ok muldar the competency remark I get editing , but the dying of old age joke no need to take that out . Otm is now renowned by its player base of being not the fastest with major changes lol

Personally I'd love to see it. Here's why (for me):

I started on iOS, but recently got an Android phone which by far makes the game much more enjoyable to play: I can have better graphics, less lag, bigger screen etc.

Now, I don't use my iPod at all. So, all the money and time I invested into my character on Lugh would go down the drain. I've been collecting items since I first joined in 2011...I'd lose everything.

The concept that OTM would possibly not seriously push this idea saddens me, because it tells me that they don't care about the effort and pride their players have in their character, and only really care about their interests. To lose my pride of CH, my character, because of something avoidable is disappointing.

You can't expect everyone to stick with their device type for the rest of their lives.
