we did it kinda differently, giving gloves to everyone in the clan first and once all active toons get gloves we will probably start with boots, takes longer to gear a full set this way but everyone is getting geared so more motivation to log.

gwydion as of now has approx 30 gloves and 0 of any other pieces i think this helps more at bosses than just 2 sets, especially if one of the toons can't make it as everyone has to sleep

Ceinwen and Bluestarr don't need motivation to log lol. Anyways, we want questions answered about DG sets and since other servers aren't making full sets because you guys only make gloves, well we had to make a set. Personally I think making a bunch of gloves has very minimal impact overall. But we have our own distribution system, you have yours. Neither is wrong or right as it depends on the clan culture.

You misread my point, I'm saying for the active people who aren't getting dg it's less motivation to log if you do set by set as they know they won't get any pieces for months and months, unless they quit their job, drink lots of coffee and stay online 24/7 killing bosses

And that is the beauty of our clan, honestly none of us care about the gear as long as the person most deservung gets it.


Ceinwen, has 3 end game druid toons and the highest rogue skill hit in game... She logs for more raid bosses than anyone in the clan and as such we are all ecstatic that she gets a set rather than salty butthole we didnt get gloves.

We only made one set because no one else was making them and we didn't want to wait a year before some server completes one. We may or may not distribute by sets going forwards, but I suppose that's besides the point.

I think people that has no motivation to log because they're not going to get gear for months and months, they're in the clan for the wrong reasons lol. Folks with that kind of attitude don't make it in Avalon.

The rarity of drops in CH already makes people wait months and months to get anything anyway, not much has changed . People are still waiting for Godly Helms and Void Skulls from Hrung for 3 years now and they still go to Hrung raids even though chances are slim they'd get anything at all. Or continue going to DL/EDL bosses even if they don't need anything. As I've said its all about clan culture and we don't have that problem, even I am perfectly happy seeing my clannies get DG when I already know I won't even get a set as a warrior tank.

Plus I'm still hoping OTM would adjust drop rates so it doesn't take 2.5 months just to make one set. That's only about 5 sets a year, which is crazy.

I highly doubt people do not secretly harbour resentment, but that's not my issue or business as I'm not from your server.

We arent perfect and its human nature to be jealous or resent somebody getting good stuff. But thats why we have an impartial points system. You want good stuff? Hell, work for it and get more points than the other person. No one in Ava gets a hand out, even veterans who slack is worse off than new members who are active. One of our fairly new members is the better equipped compared to those who have been with us for 3+ years.

It's really simple. Attending more raids equal get more stuff. No bidding, no favoritism, no dice roll BS. But I supoose we are lucky majority of our members just enjoy gearing each other, there are exceptions Im sure, but if it makes the clan stronger, the more items we get, the more for everybody. It all comes around.
